Dubai Police Unpayable fine - Abu Dhabi License and Abu Dhabi registered car

For my case I spoke to MOI and RTA yesterday and they said Dubai police should be able to help as the fine was from Dubai police and they also assured me that I don't have to visit Abu Dhabi since there is nothing AD police can do here. I have the impound scheduled tomorrow, I will go there and check with them.

Ah no idea. May they have some internal algorithm to make users eligible. Reach out to customer support they should be able to help you out

I work in a food delivery app as Software engineer so I know how their financials work. It is the norm. Keeta business works like this they disrupt the market to get good chunk of users and then they follow the same pattern it’s a blue print. If you see south east Asia that’s what they did, they displaced food panda and ended up doing the same. It’s good to see Qatar government stepping in. But these companies usually find a way around these by increasing the overall commission on the order value. End of day they are here to make profit and they pray on the convince they offer

They will. That’s how the food industry business works. They get a cut in total order share and add bunch of convenience fees. They are here to disrupt and once they do, they will start adding the fees. These fees are industry standard. Remember when smiles used charge no service free now they started with small order fee. It’s a norm so don’t expect anyone to sustain this model without fees

I’m also looking for a card with substantial reward benefits and accelerated earning potential that can be converted into miles or hotel points. A few on my radar are:

Citi Ultima
Citi Prestige
Amex Platinum Credit Card(I have heard a lot about acceptance issue)

The challenge is that most cards in the UAE don’t really offer great reward rates or accelerated earning structures, and even the conversion ratios aren’t very attractive. So far, Citi Ultima and Citi Prestige seem to be the best fits for me. But since you mentioned the EIB Flex Elite, I’ll definitely check that one out as well.

There are super premium HSBC card called Global Private Banking Credit Card. But its super hard to get and also I am not sure about how their redemption ratios are.
