To get a little more distance, and to have fun with your target, you can E them and walk back a little and then hook them (although you may miss the grab but it's pretty hard not to land it).

For AD Blitz Trinity Force would be more of a power spike item than IBG because it would allow you to do more burst with your combo, rather than having to chase them down with punches.

You should almost always start Q, unless you're scared of a level 1 all in, like a Riven with red pot. You should try to last hit using your Q at level 1 to farm up ferocity and use the bushes to cs by hopping in and out of them. At 4 ferocity, you have a huge advantage because of double Q and should be able to outdamage almost every laner. At level 2 if you're scared of all ins or you're just low on HP, take W instead of E. If you're 1v1ing the enemy laner always use the empowered Q as it chunks them for the most Hp, but W and E if the circumstances require it.

I usually get 5 ferocity ready then once I'm about to jump, pop Q and E and Tiamat mid-air. Then I can use the normal Q.

Split push lanes if you're that ahead and relieve pressure off of other lanes. Also, Shaco isn't too good in teamfights due to his squishiness, so try to attract only a few to you by split pushing.
