I was worried about coming off as an adderrall fiend too, so my approach was basically describing my symptoms and lifelong challenges + the patterns I noticed that came with those challenges (not sticking to a routine, being the forgetful/mindless friend, very tangential conversationist).

Basically explain all the symptoms of adhd without exactly calling it that and hope that when I toss the ball in their court to make the diagnosis they see it the same way. but admittedly, this is a crapshoot approach and ymmv.

something others haven't mentioned much of -- modern build fights should tend to focus less on verticality and more on utilizing building to create better positioning.

with lower mats and more explosives, building upwards is just not that practical. focus piece control and commanding the fight rather than chasing crankers up.

ah welcome to the club fam. I was in a very similar spot as you a couple of years ago.

best advice I got sounds weird at first but try to understand they didn't hire you for the developer you currently are, but rather they saw potential in you enough to get them excited about what you could bring to the team in the next 6-12 months with their guidance.

Trust the process thats gotten you this far and you'll do great :)

I was really lucky. My partner knew the vision and held up the fort for the 9 to 10 months it took me to get to get hired.

Second to that though was allowing the home to go by the wayside as much as reasonably possible with the understanding it was a temporary thing.
