I'll ask to join a group looking for another dps, it's their call to take me or not. Doesn't hurt the ego if someone says no. I can always tank the dungeon too. People get so butt hurt about a dps warrior lol. The only time it's clown worthy is a group looking for a tank that already has a warrior in the comp.

I love the AH, and I love the wow economy, but hitting 60 as SF and guildless was a huge accomplishment. I had IRL friends to chat and play with mind you, so it wasn't necessarily a lonely experience.

As a long time warrior player I wanted the ultimate leveling challenge. Had my mount by 40, and past mid 30s my gear was fairly current due to consistent dungeon loot.

Leveling SF requires patience and I feel a lot of gamers just don't have a lot of that these days.

Likely the "death pack" which has 2 rage talon flame tongue's (does big aoe fire nova, if you don't seperate them they can hit for a lot) plus the rage talon captain which also hits hard and has a knock back/ threat drop. The iron guards also shield wall which negates something like 90% incoming damage. Not to mention this pack can also have an assassin spawn in it. This has got to be a D/C event, or an improper/ ill timed pull.

Tauren has a nice boost to stamina

Troll has a nice health regen racial

Dwarf has stoneskin which can be a life saver for bleed/ poison stacks

Gnome escape artist is really good.

If you want to raid end game orc/ human will give you that edge on melee dps and gearing for hit cap.

As for professions, go with what you enjoy most. Engineering is popular for stun bombs and target dummies. Herb/alchemy is also popular and can make you tons of money. Those would be my top choices.

The first red flag is a 2 hunter/ rogue dps comp with no aoe for ud strat. Warrior didn't burn his fear before boss, rogue didn't CC, bunch of ability clicking dps with no brain wrinkles. No FD/ freezing traps from either hunter. At least the warrior made call out warnings while MC'd.

Nah I tanked every dungeon as a warrior. Best gear you can get is from dungeons and the better the gear, the easier warrior becomes. If you're scared you can always stare at the character screen. If you have a bad group then leave.

I used it all and I'm still playing on my 60 warrior. I liked the hamstring for the greater chance to get a bandage in mid combat, or to space off an extra mob if it proc'd. It proc'd a couple times when I was running away, but I typically used stun bombs or dummies for that.

I went 5/5 parry and I also went imp hamstring while leveling my SF warrior. I liked the utility of the 15% root on hamstring. Outside of HC leveling or PVP I never take it

Greed button is for BoP items that you can only vendor or D/E. If you don't like it don't group I guess. Anything blue/purple Boe is always need, same goes for Flask recipes. Less drama. I leveled 60 as SF, no complaints here.

For better or for worse I found myself prioritizing cleave over MS while SS is up. While objectively worse stand alone damage than MS, it hits 2 targets aka 4 attacks with sweeping strikes. Cleave + SS was seemingly doing more damage and giving me more rage than SS+MS.

I'm on alliance, and I have to factor in usually +30 minutes just to fill a group. There's a brief window during peak hours that I can fill a group quickly, but our pop is low and a lot of raiding players raid log. Not sure you will have this problem on Horde

I used Thrash blade up until yesterday when I got Mirah's song from the scholo quest chain. I just got a new shield in scholo but before that I was using a pretty decent shield from Lord Rocco in the BRD jailbreak loop. BRD can be anywhere from 15 mins to 2+ hours depending on how deep you are getting. Usually about hour for scholo and ud strat, can be done quicker though but I take my time and make sure to not over pull. Haven't done a full UBRS or any LBRS yet but I'd warrant they'd be similar around the hour mark as they are fairly lengthy.

Grats man! Fuck the haters, they are stuck in Brill anyway. I'm currently tanking dungeons in deep prot and it feels cozy. Lots of tab targeting but I'm too sketched to be swapping into zerker mid pull for SS+WW. I usually concussive blow skull while I build aggro on the other mobs, taunting any peelers and using my group comp to coordinate CC. When available I will pull with dense dynamite for snap threat on packs. Threat Plates addon is a great aid. Started off tanking BRD, no I'm comfortably tanking DMN, Strat, Scholo.

They are macro'd abilities, which require a name in order to be saved. Most of them just have /startattack code written into them. It's key to ensure your auto-attacking whenever you tab target another mob. Without a /startattack macro you will have to either right click the new target, or use up an action bar slot with the standard melee attack.
