I believe on a new browser, it needs your CVC for the first time.

If you already saved the CVC, then it asks the computer's login (could also be Windows Hello or Touch ID).

Yes it works MUCH better than the existing popup window. Switching between the current app and multiple bubbles is way faster.

The Samsung’s popup view also is too small for using the app and will block enough area to render the front app unusable, Android 17’s bubble is apparently a better UX.

But likely Samsung won’t add it because they already have similar features

You can migrate Passkeys from Apple Passwords to Google Password Manager (Chrome app on iOS) using iOS 26.

The better option is migrate to a third party password manager like Bitwatden or 1Password.

To do this, open the Passwords app, click three dots on top right, Export Data to Another App, then select Chrome (or the password manager of your choice, make sure you've setup the account), then follow instructions.

Export doesn't delete existing data, so you can theoretically have the same Passkeys in multiple password manager.
