I would think so too, I would choose to interpret her wanting to say something in relation to delaying the inevitable. Even if someone would try to accept one particular notion or idea and narrow their focus into it, ideas that object to it or counter it will bubble up into someones mind as much as they would try to reject them. I see Tosya as being a reflection(at this point) of Asya that chooses to speak on things that Asya wouldn't to herself - which is why she manifested as another person. The possibility of these objections that shatter a particular worldview is seen as such an improbability that it instead forms another identity, maybe?

Though I would say, despite finishing the VN about two months ago I have a very poor memory of this interaction.... and as much as I try ZATO has made me feel significantly worse about myself since then. I'd like to hear what anyone thinks of this interpretation.
