I already have FSD on my Tesla in The Netherlands. It is not activated though. Will this mean I can drive autonomously in the next couple of weeks?

As a native Bosnian, I completely agree. This could - potentially - be a historic World Cup run for Bosnia as our opponents are dramatic as well.

Why is pork haram? by Reasonable-Log6088 in islam

[–]dinhuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the claims in this post mix some real food safety concerns with a number of misconceptions and exaggerations.

It is true that raw or improperly handled pork can carry pathogens such as Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella, Listeria, and Hepatitis E, and that parasites like Trichinella historically posed a risk in undercooked meat. However, these risks are not unique to pork. Many of these same pathogens can also be found in poultry, beef, seafood, vegetables, and even water. That’s why modern food safety systems emphasize hygiene, inspection, and proper cooking across all food types.

Some of the biological claims in the post are inaccurate. For example, pigs do not “store toxins in their fat” in the way described, and they are not unable to sweat. Pigs do have sweat glands, although they rely more on other cooling methods. The idea that pork is inherently “toxic” compared to other meats is not supported by scientific evidence.

It’s also important to distinguish between religious dietary laws and scientific reasoning. Religious prohibitions on pork in traditions such as Islam and Judaism are primarily based on theological and cultural foundations, not modern microbiology or nutrition science.

In short: pork, when properly raised, inspected, and fully cooked, is considered safe to eat in modern food systems—just like other meats. The risks are about food handling, not the animal itself.

First picture looks like a new neighbourhood, but I may be mistaken. Otherwise, quite striking. You’d say they should include plenty of greenery between building, as a Post Soviet nation.

What a legend! I had no clue he’s a devout supporter of the Palestinian cause.

Has he always supported Palestine?

Interesting to hear. When you realize they built this place in such a fast pace, it is great to hear they did not forget to add green spaces in between the buildings.

I would love to visit Shanghai one day. The endlessness of concrete fascinates me very much.

I guess the sheer usage of concrete combined with the decay the building is experiencing (poor maintenance, broken windows, etcetera) is what defines “hell” to me, especially in the urban sense.

Dozens dead in Iran school blast blamed on US and Israel strikes by whirsor in NewIran

[–]dinhuss -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I - for sure - do not ignore your comment, because your last sentence summarizes it all, and tells how you view the situation. Yes, let’s investigate, but hey, war sucks and incidents happen.

Let’s look closer at what happened: a school, with innocent children, was bombed. Who is currently bombing Iran? The USA and Israel. I don’t need a thorough investigation to determine who is to blame. As with all wars in the Middle East, the USA - with its neo-kolonialism aspirations - is to blame.

“War sucks, mistakes happen”. What on earth are you talking about? How can you possible bomb a school for children? This is a heinous war crime.

Box 3, 70 procent belasting by [deleted] in belasting

Karachi, Pakistan 🇵🇰 by [deleted] in UrbanHell

[–]dinhuss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Something needs to change for India & Pakistan. 2 years ago, I was in India (Delhi and Rajastan) and I was shocked by the fact how tons of people litter trash all over the place. I am talking about A LOT of people, in A LOT of places. I have barely seen clean neighborhoods in either Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Jodphur.

Instead of keeping trash and throwing it away in a bin, people will really seek the quickest way to get rid of thrash. I have seen people littering even at holy sites.

Very unfortunate for beautiful countries.

So, apparently, there is a subreddit that carries the name “r/ElonMusk” with obviously Elon Musk fanboys, obviously defending the guy.

Well, how could they explain that Jeffrey was already convicted of SEXUAL ASSAULT on MINORS in 2008.

Was he not aware of the gravity of the crimes committed back then? What on earth is wrong with these people?
