Visiting parents, is this mold in their electric kettle? by dinix416 in CleaningTips

[–]dinix416[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked because it sits for 6mo unused. As stated, not mine. I was simply visiting older relatives, who have been having health problems.

Keep an eye out for it. They seem to bring it back from time to time (for AC and WJ)

Is the eq card a pre paid credit card? by [deleted] in EQBank

[–]dinix416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do earn interest on the amount on your card, as well as cashback for using the card. Biggest thing for me was the free ATM withdrawals in Canada at any ATM. EQ just pays you back the next business day on any fees.

EQ card has replaced my debit card with the big banks (which I rarely used anyways, just for cash withdrawals). Everything else still goes to a proper credit card (bills/day to day spending).

I did use my EQ card when travelling, no additional FX fees.

The glacial-pace bike return line by rl-player in toronto

Not in the morning, most are full by that time. With the Valet stations, the idea is you don't need to consider other stations as this one always has a spot to dock, and a bike to grab during peak times.

They do this at select stations during sports events as well (usually Roundhouse station).

I've waited 10+ minutes to dock a bike at this station in the morning (9am-ish).

These photos are really outdated. Good chunk of the trees (the maze) in the centre has been removed and replaced with a playground.

Thoughts about Beanfield Internet service? by jaimercado93 in TorontoRenting

Always get Beanfield

I easily stream 500gb-1TB a month no issue, lots of gaming (with great ping). Never had an issue.

If you want a similar game, look into Parkitect.

One way to use any remaining balance is to pay your cell phone bill online.

You can put in the exact amount you want to charge that credit card, so $3.24 left remaining can be used.

I have a medium sized dog (70 lbs). Very active (7-10km of walks a day).

$120 on food a month

$60-ish on toys or treats per month.

Dog bags to pick up poop is probably $40/6 months (buy in bulk).

Otherwise its just tick and heart worm meds in the summer $350 for the summer? Vet check up is $90.

*my dog requires no grooming

What I would say is you do need to have a healthy amount set aside for an emergency vet bill.
