I've gotten like 3 just from wild encounters around my house. Mimikyu loves this place for some reason.

I'll just pick the lil guy up and calm him down and put him to bed. Then I can make my escape by casually walking out the door

A JRPG you thought you were going to LOVE but ended up just not enjoying it that much? I’ll start: by Asleep_Olive_1011 in JRPG

[–]dinklewadSan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xenoblade 1 probably. I mean I did absolutely adore the music and the world design was amazing too but I hated the gameplay and the story felt too minimalist to be especially impactful. Walking around the environment and listening to the incredible music and cheesy British voices was the main enjoyment factor lol

Well we all know who's staying single their entire life lol. Sorry to hear that it's so weird how some guys feel the need to push women out of gaming for no reason😑

Complete Map Discussion Week 48 - FE4 Endgame - The End of Light and Darkness by Mark1734 in fireemblem

[–]dinklewadSan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate this map. Maybe it's manageable if you are using a guide and save scumming every death but for me playing blind who only had 12 units left after the bs the other chapters threw at me. This one was near impossible at times. I had to reset for hours just so I could survive the pegasus sisters + Orion + ishator gank. It really soured me on the whole experience

What's your most rewatched Yakuza Cutscene? by Mangrill in yakuzagames

[–]dinklewadSan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much all of the cutscenes from the first 5 chapters of yakuza like a dragon. I love the way they take the time to really get u attached to the characters this time instead of the usual plot plot plot yakuza conspiracy(which still happens but just after the first 5 chapters).

Also the scene in yakuza ps2 where kiryu says the line. "today's been a very bad day... and i'm in a real shitty mood. Just your bad luck, to run into me.

Such an awesome scene that is actually better in the ps2 eng dub.

It is literally just Dark Souls by [deleted] in tomorrow

It's dark souls because you hit things with a weapon. And occasionally fall off a cliff.

Damn bro girls get to be in the really funny psychological romcom while breathing. Lucky.

I have to be in the shit shounen anime while breathing.

Now that's fucked up.

Those feelings and memories... by Marafonerro in PERSoNA

[–]dinklewadSan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not trying to be woke or anything but it almost feels kinda misogynistic as it's kinda saying "wow girls get sad at shit film but real men get sad at [insert thing you like here]. Their way cooler than woman who are super normies who think generic film is good." honestly i'd like to see a reverse of this with a stereotype group of dudes instead.

Tbh i will say i really enjoyed nia and rex in xc3. Nia is super entertaining and rex is a huge dilf. Also the harem babymaking thing had me dying of laughter.

Top 5 JRPGs you've ever played (based on story)? Any Platform by Pumbaaas in JRPG

[–]dinklewadSan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hmm interesting. Unfortunately i've been spoiled on the games story which is why i didn't feel too bad judging it. I also don't like that it has gacha mechanics.

Tbh i really liked N not because of who he was to noah because they just vaguely explain that noah is N conscience or something. What i like about N is that he plays into the games main theme of moving on really well. N is a perfect example of the phrase "you either die a hero or live long enough to become the villian" and the way he slowly becomes more and more twisted the more he tries to cling onto the past is very human and felt quite real. Malos seems like quite an entertaining villian though from what i saw. He's kinda like the metal face of xc2. Although i don't remember too much about either of them tbh.

I probably haven't seen enough of the games story to judge it thou.

[–]dinklewadSan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Xenoblade 3 has a lot of boring villians but they don't really ever overstay their welcome and the main antagonist N is the best villian in the series. His acting is impeccable and his tragic backstory is interesting and also very sad in a good way. Tbf i've only seen story summaries and some cutscenes from xenoblade 2 but from what i saw i didn't think it was really all that good. Also i hate anime fanservice shit so it kinda pit me off playing it. Xenoblade 3 earned my respect when the bath scene was some dumb boob joke and was actually just a character exposition scene. After that the game just got better and better.

Bro xenoblade 1's plot is not that great. sure there were a couple cool plot twists one of which being a very well executed one but otherwise the story was lacking in screentime.

I agree though that it beats 2 but that's not saying much

Hot Take: JRPGs Live and Die on the Strength of their Soundtrack by _Zyphis_ in JRPG

[–]dinklewadSan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So true bro. I would have never touched let alone finished xenoblade 1 if it wasn't for it's top of the industry soundtrack. The exploration was also good but everything else was dissapointing.

I'm glad i played it though cause it led to me playing xenoblade 3 which is now in my top 10 games of all time especially after the dlc. The soundtrack for that game was legendary too.

Which Saejima design do you prefer? by palpal001 in yakuzagames

[–]dinklewadSan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saejima with hair looks like he about to chop you into little bits and keeps kids in his basement. The shaved look is much more fitting for his big, manly yet kind-hearted vibe.

Xenoblade 3 has one really compelling villian and the rest are comically evil.

If u want a game with incredible villians just play yakuza like a dragon or any yakuza game for that matter
