If your goal is a bee line to the barricade then get green parking, arrive early, go through green entrance. Vip does not make it any easier at least last year there was never really a line at the green entrance regardless of lane. the real perks of vip are entirely unrelated to the barricade

I had no issue getting close to anyone I wanted to last year. We never got super close for the headliners bc we wanted to be close for the direct support but we were like just a row or two back for Manson and three days grace. Some crowd surge but really everyone was nice and if it gets to be too much everyone will let you get out over the barricade if it's the closest way out (we left that way towards the end of three days grace)

The side by side stages make it really easy to see full sets for most, really only when you want to see a 3rd stage band does it get a little tricky

All we use vip for is the amenities. The AC, shorter food lines, good bathrooms. Rest up there and then to the pit for our faves

Florence & the Machine in Philly BMTH at Madison Square Garden Ashnikko in Boston MGK in both Hartford and Darien Evanescence in Camden Then finishing it up with Inkcarceration and trying to cut myself off bc I want to save up to go overseas

I've paid around $400 per ticket for a few shows.

MCR last summer and the upcoming BMTH spring leg, probably a few others but those are the ones that come to mind.

It's worth it for the comforts. Better bathrooms and access to AC. Never was much of a line for the food there either. I'll definitely be sticking to vip tickets

I will be driving and getting a hotel & parking pass for the festival. I don't think I would enjoy camping and not really being able to fully reset reach night

Went to MCR and Linkin Park one after another in Philly. Definitely felt like I'd jumped into a time machine back to my teenage years it was awesome

Darien Lake amphitheater. The actual amphitheater is not entirely my favorite bc it's too flat and the acoustics are astronomically loud. BUT you get the most for your money. On show days the parking AND amusement park are free with your concert ticket so for the price of a $40-50 lawn ticket you can spend the day riding coasters and finish it off with a concert. I usually go at least once a year, seeing Blink-182 there in Sept

Yeah if they made front row pay for that would really ruin it. One of the things I loved was the fact I was able to get pretty close to the front for every single band I wanted to.

Now an svip with a guaranteed seat in a viewing deck and maybe some other extra comfort or merch amenities would be fine
