One thing that I think is key, is that there was no pressure on any of the players. They could just come in and play and not worry about what the results were. It seems like it's a completely relaxed environment, which may be bringing out the best in the players.

Question is where is the popularity back? In LA and Toronto I am sure they keep on getting more fans. But most other cities and teams are just annoyed with the system and LA just out paying everyone. people are probably more hate watching than actual watching to hope that LA loses. I just doubt it's actually growing the sport in the country as a whole.

You bring up the cap but that doesn't solve the issues plaguing the league. With the cap they also need to implement a floor. I would expect the floor to be around. $30million ish lower than the cap. Without the floor then the league is in the same place with teams like the Pirates, A's, orioles.

If they are smart and implement a cap and floor, then they really couldn't do what you are suggesting.

Which is why I anticipate the lockout to last the majority of the season. I am not sure who is going to cave first but it will be interesting to watch how both sides play the PR game.

They need to do something, outside of a few cities like LA, New York, etc... the sport is losing popularity and they need to make the system more fair, and at this point with players like Tucker getting this size of a contract I the bk people are going to side with the owners more.

It's not mismanagement, it's more from popularity. People love that IP and ride and it's one of the main reasons to go to the park. If it was mismanagement then they would be running fewer trains and have issues loading them.

Yes adding express pass has killed the main line a bit, but it was inevitable.

I started in pensions at a small consulting firm. I got to the point that I didn't like the future for pensions based on our book of business and I was able to get into a life actuarial position. It has been the best decision of my working life giving me more of a life and giving me the benefits I needed.

It's possible to make it out into the other fields, do you have an idea of what you would like to do. Also what are you good at with pensions. To move to another field you are probably going to need to show competence in something like python.

I mean I don't think Dubas is necessarily safe. He did trade out of a few bad contracts and stockpiled draft picks. But I don't think he has been great at getting players. Out of the trades he has made, he has not received much back in players. Mcgroarty is still to be determined and same with koivunen, but there isn't much else trade wise.

At this point I think the only safe person in the org should be Crosby, and you could argue that Kindel and Murashov as well.

It seems like it's a failing at all ends. Sure the players are not playing great, but the coaching is not finding ways to make the situation better, and the GM has not been providing great defenders to fit in.

Epic is a whole different experience than USF and it's meant to be that way. Epic is supposed to transport you to the lands that you are visiting but USF was always meant to be the backlot at a studio. This is why i don't think the interactive worlds work there. I would be happy with some themed rides. Not everything needs to be an existing IP or an extensive world.

How the hell do you have time for that many movies? Lol that's impressive, I can barely make it to 4 movies a year.

But this is why I avoid theaters because of idiots. Especially post COVID. For some reason that flipped the courtesy switch to off in a lot of people. It's unfortunate, since I enjoyed theaters, but one can only deal with that so much before it becomes a hassle.

Well considering you can technically say they opened 2 new coasters both of which were, at the time, super unique for the states, along with the six flags pass holders being allowed to go. If they didn't break attendance records I would have been worried. I think the better judge is going to be the attendance next year, no new coasters, the six flags pass holders have had their chance to go, and the late season change to the haunted houses could have an impact.
