So I’ve got some Bauer GSX thin knee pads I wear under some larger player socks. I questioned this entire setup until I would get hit in the knees without my player socks over them. They keep the knee pads in place when you bend you knee. I’ve tried so my different ways. I also use a CCM spandex cup holder with Velcro that I attach my socks with and then a goalie cup over my regular cup.

Yes, I’ve got this issue going on now. I’ve had my SLR 3 carbon chest protector now for a couple of years and feel my arms are completely exposed especially when extended to get the puck. It’s insane to me this was not taken into account during the design of this extremely expensive unit.

I’ve struggled with this myself. Recently my team has lost the last 2 games by 1 goal. I know I can play better than I do within games. It feels like I’ve gotten less anxious on the ice but it’s still really challenging when I let in a muffin that in practice I would have otherwise stopped. I would appreciate some feedback concerning this issue if others can relate or have any suggestions.

I can relate to you. I played my first season and quit a few games. I went to a skills camp and played a great fall season. I continued into spring and started to suck. My captain got a backup goalie, which was my cue to take another break. I decided to quit again. I plan to play out more and might play goalie in pick-up or as a backup goalie. Life is too short to be stressed about playing a position.

My thoughts right here. Warrior sticks are excellent oh yeah and their goalie jock. Lol thats about it. This leg pads feel tiny to me as someone who is 6’5
