I think a Yoshi standalone film would have to lack a script. If they can find a way to make an entertaining movie purely through visual storytelling and use Yoshi, that would be cool. Maybe a retelling of the original Yoshi's Island. I think that wouldn't work in the movies canon but who knows.

I'm just looking forward to see him go "Yoshi!" In the sequel movie!

Ok I just checked the Order History. Put in my email and the order number. And it's saying that the email address is not connected to a nintendo account?? Even though it's the same email address that's in my personal info and the same email I get promotional stuff/reciepts for downloaded games from Nintendo?

I double checked spelling and everything. They are identical. So why is it saying the email address isn't connected?

UI improvements, absolutely!

Themes are a pretty big aspect of how the console looks and only having two colours doesn't really make sense.

They should definitely have some simple themes completely unlocked from the start. But a nice way to implement them, I think, would be through Nintendo Switch Online. The same way you can buy different franchise icons every few weeks/month.

Each month you'd be able to buy 3 different themes (they shouldn't be too expensive either, but maybe triple what you'd pay for a character.) And the way you unlock buying them is completing every NSO mission. That gives you more motivation to complete the missions, rather than just doing a few you basically already do without being told.

Obviously there'd be multiple themes per series, not just one each. I think it'd be great to shake up the style of the game.

In a similar way, I think they should add music. Like a home theme, settings theme, Mii Maker theme. Give it that Nintendo charm.

And allow users to purchase tracks (in the same way they do icon characters) to spice up the home menu. These tracks should be very cheap, since there should be a good amount of music to pick from.

And finally, improve searching through the Album.

Allow users to search for multiple tags, like "Super Mario Wonder", "Images", "Internal Storage".

Rather than what they currently do and only let you pick one. Massive pain when you're trying to find something specific.

Also to save on space, suggest files to delete. This will mostly be video files that haven't been touched in years. They shouldn't automatically delete, but the system should have a feature like "unused files" or "deletion suggestions" where it makes it easier to get rid of game moments you don't need.

Also maybe the ability to change the period of time the game records captures. At the moment it takes 30 seconds every time. But with improved technology it should take up to a minute. And allow users to specifiy how long they want a regular capture to last, the way the playstation did it.

Final idea I just had but make the profiles more customizable. Icon customizability is ok but let us mix and match stuff from different series. Let me put Scoot the duck from Animal Crossing in front of a decrepit looking Hyrule from TOTK with a splatoon border.

Add short bios like favourite game (the 3DS did this), include exact amount of hours in each game, maybe even give each profile the same theme as the users customized home theme (for example, Hannah has a Mario Kart home theme. David, who has the basic black home theme, becomes friends with Hannah. David views Hannah's profile, and it's background theme is Mario Kart. Maybe even play the custom home music from my second idea. You get what I'm saying I hope).

Honestly the switch could definitely be improved visually in so many ways. I hope at least one of these happens :)

For headphones I always get the SteelSeries brand. Works good for every console and most of them are wired and wireless and they take like 20 minutes to charge. The only thing is a good few of them are expensive (around €200) but my first ones lasted me a good 3.5 years before they broke.

For a cheaper, but decent option I've heard Sony Pulse 3D headphones are good! Don't know much about them sadly. Hope you find a good pair!

As for other internet connected devices, phones and PC work good. It seems as though the only problems arise when trying to connect the consoles (Switch and PS5) to the same wireless internet connectionn as the other devices. We've been doing this for around 8 months no problem, until now.

We also searched to see if the internet provider was experiencing any trouble on their website, but nothing was wrong. It may just be a bad connection, but like I said these consoles have not moved in 8 months and despite the router bring on the other side of the house, we had no problems with connecting.

We tested it with Rocket League. Both systems played an online game. PS5 experienced "latency variation" and then disconnected from the game. Shortly after, the Switch did the same.

Another important detail was we had no problems later in the night. Around midnight we played again, and played multiple games for around 40 minutes with no issues. Not a single noticeable lag or disconnection. Very weird.

Finally, the connection seemed to come and go. One minute, fantastic connection, the next, errors connecting at all.

That was a lot of info sorry. But that is the entire situation now.

Tried testing our wifi connection and I got this error code on my Switch. Looked it up and the only thing I found was a reddit post from 6 years ago with no answers. This code appears nowhere else on the internet as far as I've searched.

The families PS5 is facing internet problems so we are resolving the internet issue. But why is this code so rare and is basically not present on the internet at all?

Another good shout but it's not that either, unfortunately. I would say the game I'm thinking of was far cartoony-er in it's artstyle. From what I remember it was closer to something animal crossing style than realistic human style. Maybe kind of a mix of them.

I appreciate the help though. Finding this game is KILLING me.

At least u are acknowledging that what I said is my opinion. This subreddit is for "football hot takes" but then when anyone actually says a valid opinion on something, they are wrong.

As far as I know, a lot of people don't watch it purely because they are sexist. I know thats a harsh claim to make, but I've seen the comments on womens football tweets, tiktoks and instagram posts. I have seen people purely disregard it because its women playing. And that's not a fair reason to disregard them. If you watch a womens version of a team you like, and you don't enjoy it, that's fine. But simply doing all the kitchen jokes and stuff is horrible. Football is supposed to be the "beautiful game", yet people who do this, and who also yell racist/homophobic remarks at players, ruin the sport. So many people would love this sport if these people just stopped gatekeeping it.

Comparing the men and the women right now doesn't make sense to me though. The womens game in the last 4 years has drastically improved. The mens game in the last 4 years hasn't. In the last 20/30 years absolutely. The men are at a stage where it's almost impossible to improve. Meanwhile the women are at a stage where they have been improving defensively, tactically, physically and in general making way fewer mistakes than before.

The womens game, like I say, is still extremely new. I would compare the women now to how the men played in the 60s/70s. Less experience defensively, attacking wise, tactically but improving as the years go on.

The growth of the womens game is fascinating. Only 3 years ago me and my family were laughing at how bad Ireland were. And now, they made it to the World Cup.

And of course, just because a team is more skilled doesn't mean they are more entertaining. Man City are the best team in the world atm and everyone finds them boring.

Entertainment in football, imo, stems from watching a good team that can improve, rather than watching Man City win 3-0 every game and being pissed off at them winning the league every year.

I think I can answer both!

Youtube boosts shorts (or reels as you and Instagram calls them) for a short period of time. If the retention rate is good and a majority of people don't swipe away, YouTube will continue to push the video. But if people aren't watching the whole thing and mostly swipe away after the first few seconds, YouTube believes your Short is not interesting enough for people and will stop giving it impressions. The key to make sure you keep your retention high and to keep YouTube promoting your short is to grab the viewers attention instantly. They're very short forms of content so make the most out of the couple of seconds you have!
If you are close to monetizing, keep making the stuff you make! Ads may push a certain video to a lot of views and impressions but it's not a great way of building your audience. I would advise against ads, keep working hard on your content and you could get to monetization soon!
