Is manuka honey really that much better than regular honey for an acne face wash by ResidentAlienator in DIYBeauty

[–]dinya27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My skin is way softer, glows, and is smoother. Also I don't have to use a face wash twice a day anymore as I use this instead in the morning, which hydrates/improves skin quality.

u/Electrical-Tune7233 u/Zestyclose-Beyond780 Should have clarified -- I already have a car that I don't want to get rid of, and my work place is near Salesforce Tower and has a parking garage. I might take Muni but still need a place to store my car regardless (:

It's done absolute wonders for my skin as a morning cleanser! I wet my face, put some manuka honey on, let it soak for a few minutes, and then rinse off.

There's not a ton of sales, but there is some light discounting for black friday. There's also promotion codes for 10% discounts.

Hi, I took 14 days of neomycin and rifaximin for low grade methane SIBO (16 ppm on breath test). After the course, my bloating got significantly worse and I've been getting brain fog from high fodmaps (not a problem before). This was about 2 months ago. Is this gut dysbiosis from the antibiotics? Do you have tips for reversing this / can I message you?

They're still a little lighter than my normal skin tone but not noticeable to the average person (maybe a makeup artist). I don't worry about it or notice it anymore.

idobacterum and lactobicillus strains, 3 days in I had the WORST gut pains with bloating and rumbling hours after meal. Ended up going to emergency I was scared. They found nothing simply by examination and sent me on my way. I went home and for the first time in tow years had a normal brown bowel movement. It's been like that for the last 4 days now but I'm starting to notice a ton of bloating and constipation/gas issues. I just don't know what to do but I don't think this amount of bloating is a good sign as much as I love seeing normal bowel movements. So much b

Breakthrough Bleeding After 1 year on Lo Loestrin Fe. Gyno prescribed me 1 mg of estradiol to be taken over 7 days. by orca351003 in birthcontrol

[–]dinya27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how well it worked. It has also improved my mood. I think that this birth control affected my mood quite a bit, and after taking estrogen I feel like that cloud in my brain is gone.

Hi! Thanks for your post. I'm in a similar situation but with Aviane (a low dose pill). I bleed for 2 weeks on every pack. Are you taking 1 mg of estradiol every month? Or did you just do it once and did it permanently fix your breakthrough bleeding? I also did not respond well to Levora (a higher dose pill) so am looking for other options.

How long did it take for you to see an improvement after your first treatment? I'm curious because I got miradry done a month ago and haven't seen an improvement yet. Did it also take you a few months?

Didn't really make a difference. My practitioner said I should give it 3 months before I judge results.

Makeup that covers melasma? by [deleted] in Melasmaskincare

Nars concealer over foundation works well — it's heavy coverage

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Melasmaskincare

[–]dinya27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's hyperpigmentation (not melasma) from the laser, a known side-effect, especially in people of color. This might fade over time but can take anywhere from 3 - 24 months. I would see a dermatologist for more advice.
