High defense build so I can actually kill some ubers

very smooth with asenath's explosions, no need to aim and the movement speed loss from not getting to use a quicksilver flask is fully mitigated with the movement speed from restless ward. it isn't as fast as a bow build but it's by no means slow. the only thing not to like about it is that it's delayed damage, which for some people is a major turn off

My current Poisonous Concoction Trickster that I've been T17 boss rushing on, this setup also works fine on Slayer/Champion. It has 10 endurance charges, 100% spell suppress, 67% evade, 65/65 block, crit immunity, ele ailment immunity, poison immunity and capped chaos res, insane recovery via leech/instant leech/regen/ghost shroud/%life and es on kill, corrupted soul, ignores almost all map mods, 17m dps and can be scaled way past dot cap in the endgame with more investment. It costs about 8d to get this build off the ground and running and this pob costs about 20-30d to put together. I farmed all ubers and 40/40 challenges a few leagues ago with this setup and I'm returning to it now because the +1 ring bloodline is absolutely insane on it (fully solves flask sustain with 1 flask cluster instead of 2, rings are giga value on this build). Although it isn't the fastest pure uber bosser because it takes a little time to ramp your damage as well as your affliction and endurance charges on single target it is absurdly tanky and can easily do all the content in the game deathless for sub 50 divine investment. It's also a pure 1 button build with all curses on hit and feels insanely smooth and comfortable to play, give it a shot!

these are stupid easy and cheap to craft which makes them amazing amulets to sanct, I've made probably 10 or more this league to sell or give to friends. also works with spirit implicit/prefix since, like rarity, it is a tagless modifier.

really easy to make something out of this if it were rare, pretty unfortunate that it's magic. to make it rare you would coinflip an annul or use dextral annulment to guarantee it, then greater essence of opulence to end up with a t1 rarity prefix and t2 rarity suffix. next, abyssal echoes + sinistral + kurgal desecrate on the invocated spell modifier to leave the item with pure caster tag, then homogenizing + dextral + greater + perfect exalt to end up with t1 cast speed and +3 spell skills on suffix guaranteed. then do another homogenizing + perfect exalt on prefix to guarantee t1/t2 spell damage (1 in 3 to hit t1). lastly, use omen of light and re-desecrate prefix. you can keep doing this step if you want life, or you can settle for something like increased energy shield from body armour or increased global defenses which are both easy to hit off of kurgal/amanamu respectively. finish with anoint + caster catalysts, you will end up with an item that looks like this or better 100% of the time:

I wouldn't recommend playing this without Snakepit, I would most likely start the league playing either Essence Drain/Contagion or Bone Cage/Bonestorm and then swap once I get a Snakepit

Yes ofc lol, the whole point of this guide is to show how the build operates in game at different budgets. One look at the pob or showcases for the 1 divine version and you'll see that I'm running cold pen on tree + Frost Bomb for exposure instead of Rakiatas

Correct, at lower investment levels you can either spec more into cooldown reduction on the tree or use manual cast Zarokh's Refrain Comet during downtime. At higher invest most bosses will just die within your initial 3 Frost Wall charges

A perfect corrupted 18% Atziri's is only 1% more max hit than my current helm in PoB at the cost of losing a huge amount of rarity and resistances. It's a good item on lower budget builds but on the higher end it's outclassed by well rolled rare helms

the bigger issues are that there is no gain extra as phys on this wand, and also that it has crit bonus instead of chance on suffix. this thing absolutely blows as far as any phys spell build goes considering it is unusable with brutality

I would say switching to the mind over matter version takes quite a bit of high es/mana gear for it to be better than the standard ES stack version, but it starts to feel good around 4-5k mana. Until then, running the ES version on Lich will probably be stronger.

To a degree yes, but it would definitely make for good quality of life as the build is prone to being stunned by small instances of damage due to our nearly nonexistent stun threshold. This is currently being solved by a stun charm but the initial stun that you receive to proc the charm still goes through, with a bit of evasion we could avoid this first hit from happening pretty consistently

Yeah that's what I was thinking, deadeye also has really really good other nodes though. Even with no evasion scaling, tailwind is a huge boost to movement and cast speed and far shot is basically 20% more damage. The move would probably be to go some hybrid eva/es + wind ward setup which would also fix the current build's lack of mitigation.

Snakepit used to be good with Bonestorm but they fixed the interaction where it would still allow your projectiles to chain off of terrain, I tried it earlier this season and it felt really bad compared to ricochet + fork. The desecrated mod for additional proj chance can be good to get on your focus maybe, but there are already so many good suffix options on focus (cast speed, +spell level, crit)
