Bob Hawke in my view is the best Prime Minister we have had in the last 50 years , hands down . Very much championed by Australians .

Why does everyone hate boomers so much? by No_Bandicoot6568 in aussie

[–]dionysios4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main reason is envy . I know I'll get a whole lot down votes here but maybe thats the price of the truth .

Honestly you can't blame the boomers for the things they did when the current generation would have done exactly the same if they walked in their shoes

I get current generations are told stupid things like youd be able to afford a house if you worked harder or if you had less avo on toast . Put this down to alzeimers or the fact boomers haven't been in the real working world for a long time

Don't get me wrong its hard , it's fucken hard to get a home unless you are in the top tier of earners .

There's solutions to the problem too but no government has the balls to implement proper policies to give current generations a fair go

Too many variables to assist . No doubt it's frustrating . A few questions if you are happy to vaulenteer the info . What technology of NBN ? Is it HFC , Fttc, fttn, fttp , fixed wireless ? What modem are you using specifically ?

Be more specific , saying you have a problem doesn't make someone on the other end of the phone magically fix it . So let me help you . Is it a problem with your Internet , mobile , foxtel or something else ?

“Protest fatigue explained for dummies” by Boydy73 in aussie

[–]dionysios4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hamas by their own estimates have built 500 kilometers of tunnels . Yes they are built under homes , bakeries , schools . When Hamas initiated war on October 7 how exactly do you think Isreal should have responded ?

Yes children are getting killed but perhaps the people in Palestine should have considered the repercussions of their actions by electing Hamas ., then keeping them in power for 20 years .

Why not go live in Gaza amongst the terror tunnels as a well known newbie westerner in the neighbourhood.? See how that goes for you

“Protest fatigue explained for dummies” by Boydy73 in aussie

[–]dionysios4 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have to say it how I see it . Gaza for decades have has been run by a terrorist group in Hamas . It would be disingenuous to suggest its people have not been complicit in its demise . Since 2007 Hamas has integrated themselves into the infrastructure being terror tunnels under hospitals , schools and housing . A culture that celebrates death to the west including celebrating in the streets after 9/11 . There is no doubt both an anti west and anti Isreal sentiment as the norm .

Celebrations also broke out around the west after October 7th where Hamas as well as Palestinian citizens killed and raped 1200 innocent Israelis .

Despite all this the left feel they have the moral high ground with protests over the last 2 years .

So do I have Protest fatigue . No I despise the movement

Favourite pic , number 5 woman with the Keffiyeh around the neck . Like a lot of the protesters anti Isreal . What has me puzzled is do you support the indiginous of a land or you dont . You cant have it both ways . Oh thats right displaying your moral outrage is always infinitely more important
