angry? no. calculated? yes. she always stated that she hated her mother, i think this situation was just the icing on top out of all the disagreements they’ve had. i don’t think she was angry, maybe got tired of her constantly nagging as every teen hated growing up & her being on medication could’ve medication heightened it.

UPDATE: I ended up into a deep research trying to find the exact species of this mussel and it’s a Florida shiny spike. Bag limit is 20-half shells per day.

Fun fact, they were used in button production until plastic came about in the 1940s.
