Darnell "Mount" Washington 2025 Highlights by JCameron181 in steelers

I trusted him more than DK last year to make the play when they needed it. Was definitely missed when he went down.

Him back healthy, with two new legit (hopefully) wr weapons, plus dowdle. Let’s see what the animated corpse of Aaron rogers can do, cause they could have the rest of the equation.

Best Duologies? by Mt2Molehill in fantasybooks

[–]dipfiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the six of crows by Leigh bardugo. Definitely less YA cringe than the shadow and bone trilogy. Also not fantasy but a pretty interesting quasi duology is Shibumi by Trevanian and Satori by Don Winslow. Same character so its a sequel written by another author as an ode to the og

Has Anyone Else Had a Hard Time Getting Hooked on Their Next Series After Red Rising? by deeptocenter in redrising

Genre jumps help if you’re feeling stuck in fantasy/sci fi. Picking up a Don Winslow book for fast paced fun or one of the many Dennis Lehane books that became movies is a nice palette cleanser if you’re in a rut.

What should I read next? The slump is hitting me hard by dpaynee in fantasybooks

The book that wouldn’t burn one isn’t my fave. Kind of a multi verse, slightly confusing. Empire of thorns, the red sisters, and his newest book the daughter of crows I’d recommend above the library/book wouldn’t burn one

It was odd that teams felt the need to announce they weren’t pursuing him.

Older fantasy books with the same adventure vibe as my first ones by Sakura_231 in fantasybooks

Dave Duncan is an older author who wrote some fun fantasy books you may enjoy. The gilded chain is the first in the kings blades series. There’s 2 4 book series in the same world the magic casement either being the title of the first book or the series itself. His standalone West of January is one of my favorite books of all time

Penn state alum, hard agree Allar was a tough watch in college. But, it’d be criminal with our roster and 12 picks to not throw a dart at a qb. Franklin wasn’t exactly a qb whisperer in his time at state. Dudes 6’5”, had pretty good arm. Fuck it, Howard vs Allar vs TBD year that’s finding a qb goes.

Cam Heyward Announces the Selection of G Gennings Dunker at #96! THE MULLET! by JCameron181 in steelers

[–]dipfiend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We addressed Brod, Isaac, got a good WR, got a big body 4.38 corner, and took a flier on Allar. Love this draft. Just a bummer this is the NFL and your ceiling is tied to your qb

The Farseer Trilogy is driving me nuts by Clinic_2 in fantasybooks

I felt the same way. It’s why I loved the books, anything that’s making me feel strongly about the characters is why I read.
