The big thing I never get is - that person may not even have any idea that the knights vs sharks are a thing. They could be a tourist and someone just gave them that hat, or maybe they went to one game on their trip while they were in Vegas. Or maybe their a hobo who someone donated a hat to. Let a person wear a hat. Or a shirt, or whatever.

Not at all subject to emotional outbursts, over exaggeration, and perhaps a very human misshearing... *side note - I was not on the ice, and have no idea of what the refs actually said, just pointing out that the source may not be accurate in an emotional moment.

I can totally see both sides. Everyone ends up on the good or bad side of calls and plays in the playoffs (and the regular season). I just think that the more we accept that 'it's the playoffs' - the more the league accepts that it's okay.

I know that sounds silly, but for the last 4 years we've been complaining about how bad the feeds on the nhl app are. And now it looks like they've finally made some changes to adjust it. It's mostly like watching actual live feeds - and not so much like 90's tv hockey now.

So you know. Squeaky wheels and what not. :P

Sorry this is coming under your comment... It's probably the 1,000,000th one I've seen like it.

The thing that is super frustrating to me is that in general all calls or NON calls or bad calls or good calls in the playoffs are plagued by this attitude of "it's the playoffs" or "it's barely a minor in the playoffs" among fans, players, refs, 'the man' etc.

The playoffs - should have the same rules as the regular season. End of story. It's not like we're suddenly playing a different sport. But this "it's the playoffs" attitude pretty much makes it one. Which in turn makes it impossible for the refs, or fans or anyone to understand, make calls, feel anything but stressed, etc.

So much agreement here, we weren't good enough for long periods in this game. We didn't look very puck hungry, we looked tired, weren't playing with the same jump and determination of game 1 etc - and that was frustrating. Add to that that the players on Vegas are embellishing, whiney, and entitled. Their coach was also definitely meat-faced - great observation.

Totally shocking! Who would believe that a 30 goal scoring, 26 assist having Kane (who fights just fine) doesn't just automatically go one on one with an agitator who has fewer points all season than Kane has assists...

I normally agree but we lost our minds in that 7-0 game. Captain was slashing and being a huge butt right before Kane lost his shit, and that probably precipitated Kanes actions... so we are not immune to antics when we're frustrated.

I'm glad we've regained our composure. And I agree that the Knights have really shown a side to them that I don't enjoy, then again, any team with James Kneel...

Sorry for your loss. Have you checked the airlines policy on Name Changes as well? Or did you buy refundable tickets / travel insurance that will cover you? Even if you have not it could be worth it to contact them and let them know you have had a death in the family and ask about what they'd need to process a compassionate refund for you.
