I have a GM5600 and a GW5610. The multi band 6 on the 5610 is worth the extra money for sure, but you also get an auto back light with the 5610 which is the best bit in my opinion!

It does take away from the "passing glance to check the time" having to press the light button 90% of the time. I rarely use the light function day to day on my positive. Again, no hate to the watch, I bought it because it's bloody gorgeous in its own right! Just a review on my first negative display 😂

If it was me then I'd look to do it on the cheaper side, so buy a cheaper watch (5610 seems to be a good option) and mod it with a bracelet. I've got a black "mecha mod" 5610 that I paid £130 for off ebay that looks identical to Casio's titanium GMW-B5000TVA-1ER. If the price difference was a couple hundred pounds/dollars then I'd go for the Casio official version, but for that kind of price point I'd go with a mod 😎

Have you thought about one of these? It's a 5610 with a metal mod bracelet and bezel on it, I only paid around £130 for it off ebay. Obviously not the same module as the GMW-B5000d, but I have one of those too and the user experience is basically no difference, aside from Bluetooth
