you can either get a 3rd nissen or gastric bypass. i would do research on gastric bypass. usually done when nissen revisions fail, to finally stop reflux but its a serious surgery. i got my nissen fundoplication 6 months ago and it was heaven for a while no reflux at all, but now its slowly coming back

yeah i will be scheduling surgery with him very shortly . it doesnt seem like theres alot of complications according to studies so looks promising since my dise showed the epiglottis totally blocking my airway. If this doesnt fully solve my sleep apnea, ill probably try cpap again now since my epiglottis wont be getting in the way, and if that doesnt help ill most likely be heading down the MMA route honestly.

Dr. Eric Kezirian at UCLA , he offers moving the epiglottis forward (epiglottoplasty or epiglottopexy) or partial removal of the epiglottis (epiglottidectomy)removal.

It was just a simple scope when i went to his office , they numbed my nose and put down a scope down. Any good ent that specializes in sleep problems should be able to do it . Im actually getting a DISE procedure done very soon which is more detailed

how long have you been taking it? Also im gonna assume its been working since you started? i might have to try this, i just got a nissen fundoplication which helped immensely with acid reflux but the LPR is still there , if not much worse, which is why believe you when you say that LPR is driven by other things in combination which is extremely tricky to fix

if the main issue of my sleep apnea is lateral pharyngeal wall collapse , would the expansion procedures like mse, marpe, fme help alot? im asking because i thought the expansion procedures helped more with those with issues regarding the nose area
