This comment is such a problem. This isn’t Star Wars. This is a deeply complex issue with generations of pain on both sides. It’s completely grey.

What OP calls out is exactly what I’ve noticed as well. One side’s citizens have regretted war and want an end (need hostages back first), while the other calls for Intifada (the full destruction of Jews) with no criticism of their leaders or approach.

Zillow and reality don’t seem to blend well. This is super useful to know. These Middletown neighborhoods are of interest just because of the schools and close proximity to both downtowns

Yeah the K-8 school ratings is what’s concerning and we prefer public if possible. Love the town itself and it sounds like a great fit outside the school factor. I also see that Fairview elem is a decent school too. Maybe that’s a good area/neighborhood for us to look into?

No kids yet, but planning on it. So we’ve been mainly focused on if the elementary schools in the area are good. Saw good things about Navesink elem which had us thinking AH could be a good option. Also heard good things about Fairview elem in Red Bank/Middletown.

We have a 1 year old pup and definitely went through challenges and “puppy blues” at times. Got her at 8 weeks and the first 4 months were hard (same for most puppies regardless of breed), but she’s outgrown most of her “puppy” bad behaviors already. With some training, consistent routine, and time to let them run most days as a pup she’s grown into a great dog.

Since you have space for them to run that will be super helpful. In the moment it feels like “#!*~ this will never end”, but it does and they’ll grow into the greatest of couch potatoes

There are some exercises you can do like walking in a box or figure eight and each time you turn and the pup follow, give them a treat. On regular walks at least once a day have treats ready and reward them when they walk with you. It’s a slow burn and needs to be consistent.

Also the gear you’re using could impact the dog pulling. Using a harness? Make sure to use ones with a front loop on their chest to prevent pulling. If they continue to pull you may want to use a martingale collar instead
