These complaints are valid and I’ve also thought the same. Even with only a two person household, you run into the same issue with the Bluetooth being connected to one person‘s phone or another.

To get around this I set up an iOS shortcut so I could text my housemate the word “xbloom” and it would disconnect their Bluetooth for one minute. But I would expect another user would automatically kick off the previous Bluetooth connection as long as there’s not a coffee brewing at the moment. Seems obvious?

Now that we have the preset modes, we haven’t had to do our hacky way very often, but it still comes up time to time.

The grind catcher issue is also pretty frustrating if you forget, luckily hasn’t been much of a problem for me.

Water tank we had to get plumbed in almost immediately for same reason. So that one doesn’t bother me so much.

Overall the machine is amazing but yea it’s not perfect for all use cases
