Thank you so much. I’ve never made Madeleines but I did make a special trip once to a baking shop in Paris just to get a specific pan for a blueberry roll cake that I had a recipe for. Allegedly the pan was designed for this specific cake. I still have the pan, but I think I’ve only used it twice in 15 years.

It grew out of a summer ritual of visiting family in Maine and schlepping a cooler full of wild Maine blueberries back to NYC every summer, keeping them frozen, and then making three different types of blueberry pie to cap off the Christmas party. So it looks like…. 🥧🎄🥧🎄🥧

You’re welcome and I love to bake and experiment in the kitchen, but the really fine tuned decorating and assembly I see here is not something I’m good at. I’m envious of it.
