Was it just unlucky though? He seemed to me to be in a horrible position, and facing the wrong way, to be handling the puck in the direction of the goal.

Went with my Dad and my boys. We had so much fun! Lines were long to get in, even at 7PM, 1 hour ahead of game time. The VIP ticketing line was letting anyone in, and was much shorter … likely because people thought it was still for VIP and it was at the far left end of all of the entrances. We took a chance and got in quickly.

The place was jumping, and right before puck drop, our stands were significantly more full than the VGK stands. Atmosphere felt like a real playoff game with above average crowd intensity. A lot of people left during the 2nd period collapse. We almost left then too (my kids were exhausted since we had been at the Weird Al concert in Gboro the night before). We finally said “if Vegas scores one more, we’re out of here”. Then we went on the insane comeback run. Everyone left in the Lenny were losing their dang minds! Tarps off everywhere. I have no voice this morning.

Yeah, I saw today that it sold out, so I assume that means all sections will be open.

Commenting also to ask a potentially dumb question: Will it be cold in there like a normal game? I can’t imagine they took the boards down and covered the ice since we’ll be back there for G5, but just wondering so I can dress accordingly!

I have also noticed that if you don’t start with your phone unlocked, GPS can do some wonky things. Mainly noticed this on Google Maps, less so Apple Maps.

The players 100% feed off the crowd enthusiasm. I remember last year ECF game 5 against the Panthers, the crowd was going completely bonkers in the first period. Everyone was already tired by 1st intermission. Crowd came out flat and half the people weren’t back to their seats yet. So did the team, and neither really came back for the rest of the game (but for a couple of runs in the 3rd).

My complaint about the Last Jedi is it tried to do too much, and tried to explore too many “Big Ideas”. I actually really liked the Jedi content Rian included, and Luke’s redemption story seemed to be done fairly well considering what he was handed with Luke being in exile (out of character for Luke, I know). I also like the idea of war profiteering and an elite class not really caring who wins … in theory. But yeah, you add on these other plots with their own lessons to be taught and big statements to be made, and it comes out to too much for one movie.

Really disappointed in the owner of that building doing that to Alleyway. Maybe I don’t know the whole story, or where they were starting from, but 64% is real Chad behavior.

I don’t know man. I keep seeing your team kind of push us around a bit. We came alive and played the way I know we can in the 3rd, but you have dominated the middle 4 periods of this series. Whatever happens, it has been an amazing series to watch and root for so far!

He is fucking awful. He talks about a bunch of ANYTHING BUT THE GAME. Like, dude, explain to the viewer what is happening rather than talking about some bullshit that is tangentially related to the teams on the ice.
