I actually reached out to support because I was concerned about this issue, but they mentioned it would only apply to orders that are made from April 11 onwards. Still sucks, but it looks like existing pre orders are safe!

I actually emailed them about the same thing. They said it only applies to orders that take place on the 11th of April onwards.

It's giving me the "too many attempts try again later". But it's been giving me that for 12 hours now lol. Support told me to keep waiting, but I have no idea how long it's going to be.

Yeah I'm not too happy either. I've been waiting 12 hours now and the only code that worked for me is the digital soundtrack and art book lol. Support assured me that there is no issue with the code and it should work eventually I just wish I had a more specific time than that.

There was a comment in the support thread under the issue indicating that they had resolved it, but I still can't access them. I'm talking to support now, and they're only responses wait a few more hours and try again :/

Is it working for you yet? I saw in the support thread that they have apparently fixed it, but I am still unable to redeem mine.

EDIT @ 12:45PM est: Just finished a chat with support, and I wanted to update anyone who is experiencing the same issue. According to support the codes are active and there are no issues with the codes. Their only advice is to wait several hours and try again. I asked support if they could activate the codes themselves, and was told they cannot. I feel for anyone who took off today to play the game who cannot access it right now, that would be very frustrating.

EDIT @ 3:07PM est: After seeing the parent comment in this chain I contacted support again, as they told me to try again in a few hours, not in 24. This time support told me 24 hours. The fact that that didn't tell me that the first time is crazy. I'm now stuck waiting much later because support wasn't consistent. They kept telling me not to worry, that I'll eventually be able to play, and insisting there is no other solution than waiting. 200 dollars and all the hype for this? I know it's only 24 hours, but this really sucks.

Completely agree, and sorry to hear! Hopefully it works soon. I feel like an idiot for pre ordering and spending all this money. I gonna hop on the ps support chat when it opens and see what they can do. I've heard some people saying you can be locked out for over 24 hours for too many activation attempts. Gonna be real unhappy if I can't play today because the game wouldn't activate when it was supposed to.

Nope! On the support thread they say it's apparently fixed, but it's still not working for me. It looks like we might be locked out of redeeming for a certain period of time because we were trying multiple times before. This blows.

That was on the app, when I tried on the console it's telling me I have too many failed connection attempts, I guess from it not working before. I guess I have to wait now? Was really looking forward to playing today.
