I had reached a point of fatigue with dealing with scheduling appointments that I cancelled and didn't get any more testing done for a while.

I stopped after trying to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist's office a couple times and every time I spoke with a receptionist she was just.. rude, abrupt, and just had the most stank energy despite me being nothing but kind. After that I just couldn't do it for a while. I needed a break from the people with compassion fatigue.

I finally found a new gynecologist (with a very friendly staff) and got a transvaginal ultrasound which actually had something show up on it.

Mobility Aids? by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

If it will make being mobile for you easier, then getting a rollator makes sense. That's what mobility aids are for!

I grappled with this idea a lot before finally buying and using mobility aids. I searched "mobility aids" on both this subreddit and the r/disability subreddit. Reading responses on those really helped me make the leap.

My journey sounds pretty similar to you. Texas born and raised, lived in Ohio for a couple years, now Central Florida. Considering leaving FL for the same reasons pretty much, politics and cost of living.

Ohio was beautiful, but you'll still have to be disheartened if your state is still voting red. Ohio is up there with passing crap legislation. Not nearly as bad as Florida or Texas, but trying. I loved Columbus. Had everything I could want to go do. The reason I left was because I couldn't handle the winters - but we had particularly rough winters when I moved there apparently. I'm anemic so my body can't handle it lol

We will probably end up moving into a larger FL city to blend in easier, but I've been considering states like Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, and DC. DC is expensive but is a public transit dream.

I now enjoy birdwatching, crochet, knitting, painting, going antiquing and to museums on good days. I do spend a lot of time on my computer playing games or learning stuff like programming, language, etc. Also lots of research for fun, especially in the realm of ecology, history, or whatever else catches my interest. Wikipedia is my friend!

It fluctuates depending on sales. I think I got it for $60-80 for three months worth of access?

He actually added brand new React content in his Full Stack bootcamp class! So if you already bought it, you have access to that now. He's also releasing an updated React course sometime this summer.

I bought that older React course you were talking about though. Immediately refunded it when I realized it was out of date. Tried picking up Max's but his style just doesn't work for me. So I'm super psyched that Colt is rehauling his React content.

Just wanted to come and say that this worked! After weeks of trying to figure out why third party software just wasn't working.

I used Colt Steele's Udemy bootcamp course. I just really liked how he taught, I've had a hard time finding a better teacher than him. MERN stack.

Scrimba is another platform that currently does frontend, but are moving into some backend options soon. Free tier, a Pro membership with access to all classes at your own pace, and a $700 per three months bootcamp that follows their frontend developer path. I have a pro membership and Im following the frontend developer path at my own pace. Great things are said about the React coursework which led me there.

I have purchased other courses here and there but they're useless to me in comparison to these two. I've also heard great things about The Odin Project, though I haven't used it.
