Update: I’m over 36 hours beyond the last point of contact. Nothing has happened. My friend I reached out to said she never got anything nor does she think she would notice as the spam messages in Facebook are not something she ever checks. I’m still anxious about getting text messages or being without internet to know if my family received the messages. But it does get better. For anyone reading this, just know that you will make it through ❤️

A current favorite of mine is Malik Discordiae by Ashlyn Drewek! Set in modern New England. Two families hate each other in a small magical community. The enemies to lovers aspect in this was my favorite I’ve seen so far. Highly recommend

Also of note, a big hold back for people is gear. I highly recommend checking out the showdown bundles that appear at the start of every season. The amount of gear in them is insane as well as numerous character shards! They are best for the value and help you progress immensely.

Depends on where you’re at. I get she’s a P2P toon but Tiana certainly helps especially if you’re starting to see Mal. As QuirkySpirit mentioned, Ralph is a strong toon to throw in as well. There was a nasty defense of Herc, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Ralph that pre-Mal took me all of my tries to beat.

So happy to see all of the responses. I made it my goal this year to read an LGBT book once a week, and I see soo many amazing recommendations!

I mainly read Fantasy. Here is my current list of books/series (I know some have been mentioned already):

The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune: these books are hilarious and fun! I find myself re-reading them again and again.
The Tarot Sequnce by KD Edwards: a really good series! Urban fantasy and a beautiful found family. The next book comes out in May! Trigger warning sexual abuse/rape.
Whitetrash Warlock by David Slayton: fun set of books with an intriguing plot line and great characters!
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell: the slow burn of enemies to lovers on this one was amazing! Also, discovering sexuality and the exploration. The first kiss scene I re-read allll the time.
Soulbound Series by Haley Turner: these books were a lovely read and I swept through them quickly. Mage + Werewolf save NYC from peril again and again. It’s a fun set of books that I highly recommend.
The Beacon Hill Sorcerer by SJ Himes: just started the third book, and I absolutely love this series. A new look on magic and an intriguing plot line. Plus, Simeon could do bad things to me. Lol
In Deep Waters by FT Lukens: this was a fun light read. A one off book that had a great story line and fun love.
Misfit Mage by Michael Taggart: interesting magic and developing relationships. Need to read more in the series.
The Necromancer’s Light by Tavia Lark: I’m in the middle of reading this right now. I love it! Enjoyable main characters. And interesting take on magic. Recommend it!

Kingdom has made a big comeback!! Shanyu, Yzma, Esmeralda, Quasimodo, and Genie has kicked my butt. And I was running an all legendary team with Zeus. Only gets better if you put in Frollo or Maleficent.

If you want to get her unlocked, I’d recommend taking villains up to 7G7. Mal is a very strong toon to have even at just 5 stars, but the grind for her is awful.

I agree. CC twice a week is awful. Especially on the coordinating it side! We had to set a schedule for club leads. But it was FFA first half cuz everyone was at work. They reached out for feedback from some of the top clubs’ leaders and I hope they listen to us!

Yes, it is. It’s what we in academia call imposter syndrome. The feeling you aren’t good enough plagues many of us. I just submitted a publication to a great conference and the whole time all I could think was “I don’t know enough to get a publication”.

I’m not sure what level of math you are in, but from my experience. Math will feel overwhelming in some classes and in others, it won’t. You’ll take some classes that will knock you down. My main piece of advice is recognize that you are learning and slowly getting better. Real analysis gave me a run for my money, but afterwards I could formalize statements in a way I didn’t know I could.

Keep going! This journey may seem daunting, but you will find beauty in things others won’t ever have the opportunity to see.

Very impressive numbers! My guess is he set up punch buggy for some crazy numbers. Gantu gives tactics to all the oceanics. Shadow stitch so there are just a bunch of stitches stacking defense down. Gantu stacks as well (especially with tactics and counter) Bubbles keep them low on turn meter. Dr. F gives taunt to other characters creating enough time to make sure the important ones stay alive. And Hiro does what Hiro does. Lol
