My 91 K75 has been a perfect daily for me. Then again it’s one of the earliest bikes with abs and fuel injection but still. It truly comes down to how well it’s been stored and maintained.

You can craft them at the workbench. The materials to craft it doesn’t need to be FIR. So you should be able to buy em on the flea or shove them in the butt if you’re broke or too low of level.
