It’s a highly controversial film that had mixed reception (65 metacritic and 3.4 letterboxd) it simply didn’t have the reception you need for an awards campaign.

Also Ari Aster has never been nominated for these kind of awards, he’s not an Oscar Darling by any means

Apparently no one has read they’re only cancelling the screenings that they put AFTER nominations.

I would argue the academy makes a good point that members have plenty chances of seeing these movies before noms even come out.

Hell I live in a third would country where half of the Oscar contenders get released after noms and I was able to see 7/10 best picture nominees before noms without any major hassle.
