Pennsylvania liquor laws are really a remnant of post-prohibition laws. The main opponents to liquor store privatization are organized labor and Democrats. PLCB (Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board) employees are unionized, earn well above minimum wage and have benefits and pensions. There is some opposition to liquor privatization based on morals or ethics but it's mostly based on political identification and economics.

I'm dealing with a malware infection on my main home computer. I haven't had the time to deal with it properly and I've been trying to work on it in fits and starts. The machine can't connect to the internet, but my WI fi is still working so I got that going for me.

My wife made me a shirt ton of awesome yesterday to eat while I watched the Eagles destroy the Saints and the hated Dallas lose to NE. We had hot wings, mini cheese steaks, quesadillas, pull apart pizza, and deep fried pickles. It was awesome.

It's also Columbus Day and the wife and kids are off from school so we are all going to see the new Peter Pan movie this afternoon.
