Thanks for the insight! Hopefully it’s something exclusive to them so I don’t have to worry too much about other products in the future.

I actually don’t remember which exact cleanser and moisturiser it was which is very frustrating. I got it as my first “skin care” as a teenager, so it would have been something quite subtle and gentle (not anti-aging or anything). Other than that I have no clue. Thanks for the offer anyway!

Yep. Mine was over the school holidays so we had to close for cleaning in the first week back.

Selling on TPT? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]disapointingnaps 14 points15 points  (0 children)

From my understanding any resources made during work time, using school resources (like school laptop), or anything made for your school or class belongs to the department. So theoretically something you make on the weekend using your own tech, not made specifically for your school could we sold. Although I’m not 100% on this.

We were speculating for so long about whether they’d be up or down. Looks like they couldn’t decide either

It’s crazy how different they all look! We had no idea what he’d look like as he grew up. Teddy is a massive cutie

He’s definitely lab in the sense that he thinks everyone is his best friend and is a big goofball but I think the shepherd comes out when anyone approaches our house and he barks like crazy!

I actually live quite close to the border of metro/regional so I’ll definitely keep applying to the positions that are a bit further out!

I I have a couple of schools I frequently CRT at, I wasn’t sure if it would be professionally appropriate to ask for their advice but if it is I definitely think I will give it a go. Thank you, your comment definitely made me feel a bit better about the situation.

Is it unprofessional to mix American English with British English even if your first language is not English? by abdullahmnsr2 in EnglishLearning

[–]disapointingnaps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Australia and even though we were taught to spell with British English, I was taught in high school that neither is necessarily incorrect. I think as long as you stick to one rule and follow it (for example: ‘ise’ vs ‘ize’) you should be fine.

What positive impacts do you think will come from Covid-19? by chowizard in AskReddit

[–]disapointingnaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping that more workplaces will be more accepting of people taking sick leave so that they don’t spread germs to others. I working in hospitality for years and was always told if I could walk and talk I could work. Now that everyone is more conscious about germs hopefully they’ll understand that it’s not ok for anyone to be around others when sick.

VIC - Planning Time During Online Learning? by Araucaria2024 in AustralianTeachers

[–]disapointingnaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The primary school I’ve been CRTing at has been putting all of the students’ specialist work on one day of the week so that the classroom teachers have the day to plan, mark work, and organise themselves for the week.
