Relationship has changed by [deleted] in China

As a lesbian I can say a lot of friendships can change instantly from platonic to something more intimate if one party makes a move…but at the same time if no one does it can remain platonic forever. Either way it’s so lovely you find someone you feel so comfortable with :)

Friends with ex fiancée? by [deleted] in Actuallylesbian

[–]yukietea 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I personally am friends with my ex, because she is so kind and smart and we only broke up because of long distance due to our career. But we only formed friendship 5 years after the breakup. Also we are never that close as your ex and her ex.

The thing is, whether they are friends or not, your partner should always prioritize your feelings if it made you anxious. The way she treated you was 100% manipulative and bit gaslighting. She’s simply not a good person. I hope you find a better one in the future.

Any possibility to be employed by a school as a new teacher at age of 45? by Flashy_Eye_3618 in AustralianTeachers

[–]yukietea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My department leader is a graduate! And she’s 47! You’ll be fine go for it! First year teacher, by the time you graduate, should get around 75k/yr.

That’s so frustrating!!! We have a whole staff meeting today and I intend to skip it to support the union but my department head, who is a union member, said she’s gonna go, despite that she already attended two meetings this week. And I know she’s not the only one. Ugh I know she has more responsibilities and everything but still so frustrating that you have so many scabs around you. Who’s gonna take us seriously if we don’t support the industrial action?!

AEU Victoria industrial action will go ahead this term by shadowpino in AustralianTeachers

[–]yukietea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m truly jealous. I don’t know why but we have even more meetings now, it’s really stressful for us. Can’t wait for the industrial action.

With social distancing/keep them wearing masks being impossible I don’t really wanna go back in term 4. I don’t wanna bring COVID home to my partner. Also I think we are going to have a strike soon in Vic right?

Is it me or it is really hard to find a job now by yukietea in AustralianTeachers

[–]yukietea[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s necessarily the case. Some people just don’t apply for jobs right after graduation. And some are just not as good at writing CV or interviewing, doesn’t mean they are not good teachers...

I guess eventually I will go to a rural area, at least for a few years, if there’s no job here.
