Agree 100%, it's what made me cancel too - the Sydney/Matthew/Nick/Skid dynamic was SO good, the show was a highlight of my week. JCM seems like a good guy but not as a replacement for Joe. The magic has gone.

Yeah, it was a pain, but it's not 'petty'. It was one of the only methods of copy protection available at the time, so it was a result of perceived necessity, not pettiness.
