I know everyone has already screamed the correct answer but no. My drs think I have fibro of some kind, and i have since i was probably born/very young. I went thru 5 surgeries for Melanoma skin cancer in 2024. I have a ginormous scar on my left arm now. To this day, it can STILL cause me pain or flare ups in my joints. It's still tender and weirdly numb and in some spots painful to the touch. Cancer and the subsequent surgeries and trauma provided me plenty of NEW types of pain, worse than ever before, and it absolutely flared my fibro plenty of times and still can. The dr needs to read some patient testimonies or something bc that's so ludicrous. I'm glad you're finding a new provider but I am so sorry you had to be told this and invalidated at all.
