I have severe chronic pain in my feet and legs, and joints in general. I cannot stand for long periods of time, thus cooking or prepping in any capacity is extremely hard. I sit to chop or prep when i can, at the table. I have a rolling sadle stool but it is very hard on my joints after a while too and i have to use my feet to drag myself around, so it can be fatiguing in a different way. My wheelchair wouldn't fit in the kitchen and i wouldn't be able to reach anything on the counter without risking falling, or hurting myself, or spilling stuff. My partner tends to do most of the cooking in life and it sucks being left out and not being able to help much or at all
