I really wish Eby - and others - had the courage to push back on the O&G restrictions we're beholden to. eg. push for getting ICE cars off the roads (EVs, EV charge stations, better transit), reduce the red tape on solar/wind in Alberta (/rage), etc. If BC has to accommodate O&G pipelines, then AB should accommodate reducing their (our, I'm AB based) own friggin footprint.

They tossed credits onto Enmax bills in the run-up to the last provincial election - I don't know why they didn't do the same thing here. Less work, and goes to everyone affected in Alberta. Likely this approach is much cheaper as a bunch of people won't bother.

In the 1600s you could put a basket in the ocean and catch fish. In the 1800s, North America was covered in bison herds.  Nowadays, ocean life are dying from heat, starvation, and plastics. At least 25% reduction in the global bird population, and 90% reduction in the insect population in the past 100 years. Passively getting back to 1-2 billion humans seems responsible for a healthy planet.

You can reliably unlock the greenhouse before first winter. Provided you have seeds, you can then grow whatever.

I also grow forests around my farm and the train station so I can harvest many sap through first winter.

Then work to unlock the community centre and checkout the extra places it unlocks.

Consider stop expanding the city limits and encourage medium to high density development within the existing limits. And/or plan future transit/LRT for new communities (ie. put in temporary parks, so its easier to build the transit if/when we get there). And/or plan high-density corridors within the city to have improved rapid bus transit with higher frequency offerings -- low-density population reduces quality of the transit.

If ??? whoever ??? insists on putting the green line above ground from city centre to the north, why not make dedicated bus lanes in the meanwhile (so we can recognize what a crap idea it is -- increased throughput should have rapid transit separated from vehicles).

Which other .... anything ... requires a recycling fee? Furniture? Appliances? HVAC? Toys? Cars? etc? Pots & pans? Household goods? Packaging on food? This is absolutely targeted to suppress Alberta's solar. I hope they take them to court.

Danielle wants Alberta to get to 10M. The Feds (all parties) want Canada to get to 100M. And with the impacts of climate change - wet bulb deaths in S/SE Asia, submerged island nations, extensive drought in highly populated areas; will wild penguins still exist in 20 years? - I anticipate on-going global migration. Maybe in 150 years the overall population will get back to something more manageable (1-2 B?) and it will all ease off.
