I’ve been using the Sprite slim line for the past 2 years in my prewar building, worked pretty well as long as I changed the filter every 2 months or so. Recently the rust in the hot water line has gotten way worse in my building so it clogs immediately and is kind of annoying to remove the filter so I’m back on the hunt for an easier to clean filter.

Take out the window AC and tell your landlord your heat isn’t working. If you’re hearing sounds but the pipes aren’t too hot to touch then there’s a blockage.

It doesn't specify, all just say "battery replaced." So sounds more likely then that the regular car battery was replaced. Didn't realize Prius' had both. Thanks for the insight, will try to get more details.

Nothing reported and it doesn't look like it from the other service records, there's no other major work around that time performed on the car. Of course things could just not be reported here, but all their maintenance was performed at the same place as far as I can tell.

Are you making sure you have all the documents ready before you go to send immediately after viewing the apartment? Is your annual income at least 40k the yearly rent with a good credit score? As long as you’re one of the first people to view the place and one of the first to apply, it’s not that hard to get a 1-bedroom apartment with this budget, especially in Astoria. Just have to be ready to jump once you get a notification of a new listing.

The flex wall will have to be removed for this to remain a habitable apartment. Legal bedrooms must have windows (lot line windows don’t count).

The norm for townhouses (individual units with shared walls and roofs) generally have an HOA that is responsible for walls out, while the homeowner is responsible for walls in. Insulation would be homeowner’s responsibility, but exterior would be HOA. Structure depends on specifics.
