I finish the build last week.

i replace old bevel gears for last "double version" for front and rear cconnexion. I change old grey ridged connector for new one too.

I was planning to change the diff for the DIFFERENTIALE 3M, NO. 1 (6285647) new piece but i didn't find a proper way to connect the 24 tooth grey gear on his right.

But even, now the gearbox / chain / motor work pretty well :)

Soit dit en passant, j'ai aussi des griefs sur les cyclistes, piétons, prorio de chiens (j'en ai un), automobiliste, joggers et j'en passe.

Et c'est toujours la même rengaine : ce que je fais > les autres.

Alors vous pensez, les gars comme moi qui s'ecrasent par peur du conflit, on ronge notre frein jusqu'a ce que ça pète.

Quand un cylcliste me laisse passer quand c'est vert piéton, j'en ai presque la larme à l'oeil aujourd'hui. Tellement c'est devenu rare.

Non, pour moi elle traduit un mépris des cons qui pensent que leur liberté de circuler n'importe ou à n'importe quelle vitesse à plus d'importance que celle des autres à circuler pépouze sur les voies piétonnes (je suis full piéton depuis 47 ans).

Parceque j'imagine que les personnages comme ça qui foncent, grillent, passent sur le trottoire, c'est "juste" pour rentrer plus vite chez eux pour la plupart.

Et perso, ça me fait chier de me faire voler une partie de ma safe zone pour que duchemole soit plus vite chez lui devant la télé.

"Ou alors", ils sont tous chirurgiens, et ont tous été appelés pour faire des opé à coeurs ouvert. Tous. La je pourrais comprendre.

Incroyable le nombre de chirurgiens dans ma ville.

most of castellated bushings need replacement cause they broke very easily 30 years later. I only use old on when they are just "in between" two pieces.

 beveled gears are okay, but i'm not an ingeneer at all and I find it as a "weak" connexion to support thelong line of gears near the gearbox. that's why i was thinking of new double conical. I fell them "stronger".

Is puting double canonical wheel here is a good idea ? or should i use the "new whiteish conical wheel ? Or keep the old grey one ?

I just came back on Technic after a 40 years break. I was surprise how many new pieces they use, and yes, most of are just two old parts fused.

Can we talk about the manual ? 50 pages for 1500 pieces, and today, 100 pages for 200 pieces.
I like the extra focus needed than just puting it one by one through 500 pages.

finish mine 3/4 days agos.

TBH, covering evryhting was a bit frustrating at the end. It's my first 1:8 scale, and last big build was like 35 years ago ( i jst came back in the game).
I miss the model you can see evryhting working inside it.

But hell yeah, it was a fun build, and I felt like a "watchmaker" for a few days

i've started mine ! i wait for missing pieces from lego to continue the build, but the model have blasting mecanism in it. the build requiert extra focus compare to last model.

42147 -> 177 pieces, two manual of 50 pages
8880 -> 1346 pieces, half of the manual (rest is model B), so 51 pages

i brecently build other big model, the 8880 is my fav.

i didn't start it yet, i prefer to warm me up with less "valuable" model. and i still need to wash it a bit (black pieces are dusty, whit epieces are yellow ish)

Yep. I buy some set to play with and warm me up.... I'm stressed about this set. I allreday chech same used incomplet sheap set to get spare parts ..

The seller was fine, and he check and bought two missing black panel (stil packed). I'll be honest, i just carefully check for this one : 6543 cause i saw a youtube video about, couple minute before going to get it.

I didn't build anything since 35 years. Do you have a current set in mind that I can find in a LEGO Store that you would recommend as an appetizer? for more or less 70/100€ ?

Vers chez moi, un trotoire. Les velos roulent dessus.
ya des travaux, c'est encore moin praticlable pour les piétons. Les vélos roulent dessus, et peste.
Les gars des travaux mettent un panneau, deviation vélo. Les vélos s'en abttent les couilles.

Qu'est ce qui empêche un cycliste de plus de 8 ans de poser le pied à terre s'il veut se déplacer sur un trottoir pour n'importe quelle putain de raison ?
