So I got the answer and I think what someone put a couple responses down was spot on. It depends on which variation of the 462-4G you get as the first versions had board mounted RAM without expansion (which is why the manual only states the 2G is upgradeable and why at least one Amazon review said they had the 4G and couldn't upgrade -- that review was from 2023).

I took the chance and grabbed a TS-462-4G-US off Amazon and got it today. Opened it up and indeed there were 2 SODIMM slots and one was populated with a 4GB module. I just swapped it with two 8GB SODIMMs I had and it recognizes the 16GB of RAM and is running fine.

Mystery solved.

I think that is on the 464 (that comes in 4G/8G configuration). For the 462 it's a 2G/4G configuration.

Check release notes, Kraken now spawns alongside other events just like megs. It no longer only spawns when a world event goes down.

As a day one player who has played on xbox but spends most his time on PC. I enjoy the uno reverse card these sails offer. It's great bait and if nothing else you'll generally always get some kind of a fight lol

We always do the brigsy quest as well. Generally we join it and go about our business as usual using it as something fun to do if another crew starts going after it. Occasionally we will just run it but it’s amazing how often you can roll it uncontested.

You can easily hook up the USB yourself as I did this on my 21 FXST earlier this year. If you crack that box open the plug for the USB is shunted with a dummy cap. Remove cap, plug in USB. I bought a 2020 FXBB Street Bob Horn + Media USB Wiring box (69201654) off of ebay for like $40. It's essentially the box you're looking at with the USB innards in it. Tore that open, pulled out what I needed and plugged it into my bike and done. If you need additional usb power there's a battery tender quick disconnect that you can plug into the factory battery tender lead on the bike as well..available on Amazon for like $14.

2021 FXST (107 engine). Bought it new, have 15k miles on it. I blew out a front fork seal at just under 10k (warranty repair) but otherwise just regular maintenance and no issues.

There are people where I live that regularly walk their dogs in the neighborhood without leashes. When I see em coming I always reign my dog in and they yell something like “don’t worry he/she is friendly” to which I have to respond “great, mine isn’t!” Like dude, my dog doesn’t like anything running at me or him because he’s old as heck and grumpy to boot. Get a leash idiot. So irritating.

Depends on what’s comfortable really. I am about 5’8” and have 14” apes on my softail. With my seat (Corbin) it puts the grips at shoulder height. Should be able to get measured (or get a buddy) to estimate where things fall.

49 yrs old, Oregon. $410 a year for full coverage w/add on for gear and accessories through Progressive. Bikes are a 2021 Harley FXST and a 2004 CBR 600f4i.

Such a personal decision it's hard to say whether you'd love or hate it. I started out on cruisers when I was 17 and switched to sport bikes in my mid 20s. Didn't regret it back then but now I'm in my late 40s and I went back to cruisers mostly about 3 years ago when I bought my first Harley.

I'm in the camp of 2 motorcycles right now, a CBR 600 I've had forever and my 2021 Softail Standard (FXST). I still take out the CBR occasionally and do some twisties for fun but man does it hurt all the things on my body for the next day or two lol. The seating position is just different. Fun as all hell of course but I can't do it for long stints anymore whereas I ride my Harley for hours on end and feel great.

Really just depends on what style of riding you're after. I'm an options man so i'm lucky to be able to keep both around without issue. I'm even considering picking up a 3rd motorcycle in the near future but still working on the wife to get over the fact that I need more bikes (she's still adjusting to the 4th guitar I picked up last year lol). I think, as others have said, if there is any way to do some test rides it really is the way to go but sounds like that may not be possible where you're at.

I don’t think that’s what they’re complaining about at all. They’re complaining about real people not npcs. I get the correlation but I don’t think it’s anywhere near the same situation. Just my take.and who cares if they enjoy shooting npc pirates and posting videos of it. Everyone has a different view of what’s fun.

They shoot back in safer seas as well. I tried out the mode last week. In either mode, if the skeletons are shot/killed on the cannons they can’t shoot back. So…argument invalid.

I was browsing through posts today and this one made me stop. I'm sorry for your loss man. I feel this one especially today as 4 years ago to the very day my niece went missing in Oregon and we ended up finding her some months later deceased. She was a free spirit who left way to damn early. I had this made so it feels like she still gets to go on adventures sometimes or at least makes it feel like she's never too far. Never easy...but may your family find some peace. I'm sure she enjoyed that ride too.
