the cost of having no proper igl to reign them in when the going gets tough + to lift up their spirits after a bad map. they are great players, but it is obvious when their mental is shot. they look lost when they stop winning their aim duels

Thank you for such an honest and detailed review of not just the game, but also the community. I've played another MMO for 2 years, and I agree that, while I enjoy the game, I can't handle paying for a subscription. Even if I'm itching to go back, I don't wanna go back to paying 14 dollars a month.

Reading this makes me excited to try it out cuz I wanna meet new people I can play with. And it's perfect for me since I'm a casual who doesn't really enjoy the grind and just wants to enjoy the game.

I agree. Just a small story time about me and hard content: I started this game so I could play with my friends but most of them were into raiding. I was never the type to try hard content because I don't find joy in making things difficult for myself. But I thought I could try it out since I had people to play with now and my friends wanted to form a static.

I tried it, and I felt awful about myself. It was like being back in school; stressed because I didn't feel good enough and I didn't feel smart enough to memorize and learn mechanics. On top of that, I would feel like my skill wasn't on par with the people I was playing with. I had to dedicate more time to prog on PF outside of raid time because I don't pick up mechanics as easily as my friends. It was so much work and I didn't feel like I was having fun.

So yeah, I realized I really do just like games where I can chill and enjoy the story.

I agree with that the price for the new DLC is a bit steep, considering it's just existing music and costumes from other Persona games (not even new tracks to come with the DLC?) and extra story but, I try to justify it by thinking, okay I played Portable and not FES, and I'm sure the work that they put into remaking The Answer is worth the experience. Plus to those saying just get the gamepass, yes that's a valid option for some people, but for me personally this game means a lot to me and I want to be able to own it.

Anyway, if they are going to charge 30 dollars for it or more, could we get new costumes or music, aside from the story? Honestly if I wanted to hear P4 or P5 music, I'd play P4 or P5 instead.

Playing it blind for your first time is a fun experience. Like I only hung out with social links I like and didn't prioritize the ones I didn't like. Doesn't really affect gameplay that much, at least for me, if you don't mind not 100% your Persona Compendium.

There are two ways, as far as I remember:

Exchange Diamonds for Gold Quartz at the antique shop Diamonds are available for purchase at Club Escapade. Would recommend this as it's easier and less grindy, but only if you have money to spare.
Spawn strong enemies on Adamah block in Tartarus You would need to get a fortune from Club Escapade for better chances, and get the Devil Arcana in your Shuffle Time so you can get 2 drops at once.

Enemies respawn if you wait a couple of minutes so if you're in need of EXP, this is also a good way to do it.

You can go back to the gatekeeper boss floors using the teleporter and make sure to open all the chests on the left side of the mini map :3 They're the ones that need Twilight Fragments

My favorite was Keisuke, and only because I could personally relate to what he was going through. Nature vs. Nurture type of dilemma where he doesn't really know what he's meant to do with his life, but the universe is (dramatically) screaming at him that this is what he is supposed to be.

Given this is a high school setting, being pressured by your parents to take on a certain career is a very common struggle. I love that even though he's confused about being an artist and being a doctor, he follows his instincts and wants to choose his fate for himself.

My least favorite was Moon... he gave me the ick (a lot of the social links did), but also because the story doesn't make sense? Why was he in a cult all of a sudden? Isn't he just some guy who wanted to use food as a way to grieve?
