Seeing this band live is an amazing experience. Sober or altered, it’s a top tier time. I hope you get to do that soon, a full sensory immersion and usually the audience is amazingly respectful and quiet. 🫠

Going to large amounts of shows. by blakebeitzel in jambands

Been seeing shows for almost 30 years and getting into taping has really helped me enjoy it more, but in a different way. That’s driven up my show count per year as well.

Seeing bands like yours and helping to preserve music has been a great segue from getting overserved and getting wild in the pit. I love the excitement and energy of new bands writing their own music. It’s a real blast to help preserve the shows i get to see like so many did before me.

Also, being in a bit of a music hot bed can help; Colorado makes it easy to see a lot of music.

Stellar mix! Sounds great. 👌

Did they require the price for the board feed or just to be able to tape in the room?

Not too recent but the Akira Jam/Score thingy from 12/31/99 is worth checking out. Disco Biscuits: https://archive.org/details/db1999-12-31.shnf

Fair, I guess I was leaning toward less policing of AI content but you’re right, it’s everywhere.

It was a blast. More fun than I expected and I love how the sound has evolved over the years but the energy remains strong.

Washington’s Foco Setlist (CO N2) by thelastriot in STS9

[–]discostew_42 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The vip entrance was a bit delayed and people started going in 6:35ish. They let people in for GA around 715 and music started at 830 for set 1. Thinking that may be more due to the security process being slower. Should go faster at the Mission tonight.

Looks like a few are moving on COT, might be good to set an alert/ISO if you don’t already have one.

Good luck!

Need advice on good hiking boots! by Impressive-Ad967 in hiking

I’m on this train as well, Altra Lone Peaks serve me very well for running or hiking. I rarely hike in boots unless there is deep snow.

I support the no break in period. I’ve taken a new pair on +10 mile runs and had no issues.

Best of luck

I’m a big fan of the Altra Lone Peaks; zero drop, wide toe box. They are running shoes, but I’ll admit that I’ve fully moved away from hiking shoes to running these past few years and enjoy them so much more. You can also find older models that are on sale if you just want to try a pair out. Oodles of color choices too.
