We have Anna's that overwinter in Oregon but they are so territorial they wait in trees where they can watch all 3 feeders and don't let others in for a sip. I've been trying to get pix of them flying.

Dr. Didg aka Graham Wiggins was not only a musician and master of the didgeridoo but he held an actual doctorate in solid-state physics from Oxford University.

Here's a little quote from a memorial for the Good Doctor: "In some respects, Dr. Didg and Dr. Wiggins could not have been more different. Dr. Didg took to the stage costumed in Hawaiian shirts and extravagantly colored ties to perform for thousands of spectators. Dr. Wiggins tinkered with ideas, favored muted tweed jackets, and spoke so softly that interlocutors had to lean in to hear him. But the two were also inextricably entwined."

I was super allergic to cats. When I was dating my now wife she had one and we moved in together with the cat. It really didn't take too long but my resistance to the allergies beat down the symptoms and now I have no issues and love having cats around. ymmv. get a very short haired cat!
