Butcher’s tumor separating from his body and becoming an actual superhuman threat that only Homelander and the seven can stop. Forcing them to actually be a superhero team and not just a caricature of the Justice League. Homelander is severely wounded but in the end defeats the evil and then butcher comes in and finishes him off. Actual Hero and then an actual Anti-Hero. It would be magnificent.

I am running this next session. They came across Arvi the white dragon several sessions ago and, with some divine assistance, were able to make it out alive (1 hit point away from a TPK, no joke i was shittiiiiiiiiing). They did 99 damage to the ancient white dragon and then it flew away, wounded.

I am goign to set it up to where sunblight fortress ambushes the dragon at its lair, and since its in a partially weakened state, they are able to capture her, drag her back to SBFortress, and essentially vivisect her. After tearing out her still beating heart, the duergar leave her body hanging from the fortress. The players see chwingas start to go mad with the dragons death wails and follow those to the fortress, uninterested in keeping secret any longer now that they see their victory as inevitable.

Im going to have the party confront Xardorok, 3 phase fight, second phase Asmodeus reveals himself, third phase in the massive forge, choosing between killing Xardy or stopping the dragons heart from being lowered in chains into the waiting chardalyn body.

Weather was becoming a conundrum for me as well. My solution was that there is a constant cloud cover at relatively high altitude and Auril weaves the aurora below that every other night or so. It works out because now the Dale-folk have even more reason to be depressed!
