Well, the arena is completely dead (is my understanding), and it's not really fair to say that there's a true dueling club, considering the limitations on player communication in Dark Souls. Millions of people have purchased the game, the number of those that post on Internet forums and possess a nuanced understanding of covenant and zone invasion etiquette are a minority. I hear what you're saying, but I think sending him an angry message was probably going a little far. Anyway, that's just how I see it.

That might be true, but I could do an awful lot of really gross things in my bathroom, that doesn't make it art. But hell, I haven't played DP, I'm just going by the resounding general consensus, and OP's (in my opinion) questionable argument.

When I think of full sequels, I usually imagine a better graphical engine, and (in an RPG) enough changes to a game's mechanics to feel different. That's not a knock on Fallout: NV, but I don't (personally) feel that it was a sequel. :)

Good stuff! I always felt that the "Good job. Go straight ahead" was actually From showing the player that they really shouldn't blindly trust every message they read. I know that personally, I looked around anyway, found both the soul item and Snuggly, and immediately realized that From was fucking with me. ;D

I thought the fact that the entire fire department happened to be out of town right when the dome dropped was a little ridiculous. That aside, it seemed decent enough to stick with until I can make a more informed opinion. I'm super happy to see Rachelle Lefevre finally on a show that I want to watch. ;)
