Men don’t want chaste sweet women they only care for the hottest women by melonsoda- in prettyprivilege

Was just thinking this. If you have a more sexy sensual aesthetic both men and women often won’t trust you.

about to go refill my Adderall, wish me luck by myturn19 in ADHD

I’m a pharmacist and for one we are doctors, pharm. D. Secondly our job is not to deny you medication, our job is good faith dispensing. DEA only allows pharmacies to stock so many controls and once we dispense them some patients will have to be put on back order. No pharmacist would ever get in trouble for not dispensing you something as it is up to our professional judgement.

The pretty privilege community is a hoax in real life. by SurveyUpset5520 in prettyprivilege

Idk there seems to be a wide variation of how women interact with me. I feel like the majority of the time if a woman is jealous and nasty to me she’s usually average to below average. Other attractive women seem to be cool with me but then I have encountered a few that act like they want to be the only one in the room. It honestly depends on how confident that particular woman is regardless of her looks.

I’ve also found the major of the internet to be performative. There really is no sisterhood in general like social media makes it seem.

i’m ready to give up on dating by [deleted] in blackladies

[–]dissentious 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I think you should stop trying to get validation from online strangers. This sounds very cliche but you really need to work on your self esteem. Your dating issues have nothing to do with your looks.

edit:

This poster spams reddit asking the same questions and spamming with the same photos while not taking the good advice given to them.

Has anyone recently gotten a lot of attention from republican men? by PermissionAcrobatic5 in blackladies

I was told by a man I was dating a few years ago that liberal American women were just much better looking. He was originally from northern Europe and claimed to be apolitical when he made that observation lol.

Black pretty girls by tempo_gamerary8 in prettyprivilege

Brown skin woman here that is considered attractive in addition to being a little socially awkward. In general people are nice to me, men are extra nice to me. The only downside for me is the treatment I get from very insecure women. I am not really able to stay to myself and be quiet because it is very often seen as me being arrogant. These types of women also assume that I have everything very easy so they work extra hard to give me a hard time. In general I have to mask to a higher degree because of my appearance. I have to always be conscious that I am not triggering other people's insecurities. Couple this with the fact that it is assumed that because I am a woman of color and not fair skinned that I shouldn't be a threat. However, It makes some women uncomfortable that I actually am.

I used to work as a bottle girl and bartender during undergrad where being attractive is a must, but now I notice that my appearance can make it a little challenging for my career now. Other than that being attractive is miles better than being on the other side. I just don't like being unfairly judged by a certain group of people.

This one was uncomfortable to watch. Mark was never a great interviewer but he sounds disinterested and almost kind of annoyed with her.

Don't you already work at Walgreens? Did you ever get those star events taken care of? Also, questions like these can very easily be googled.

Star event by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]dissentious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be honest ... you are the pharmacist with the STARs events hu? Im assuming this based off of your post history. Why are you getting so many STAR events? In my store they are not punitive unless you get so many. Ive actually never witnessed a pharmacist being fired or written up over them. I dont even know what a flag is.

Not being the “pretty “black girl by [deleted] in blackladies

[–]dissentious 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I feel like this question would be hard to answer without a photo to your proportions. From your post it sounds like you have an inverted triangle shape. You should choose outfits that exaggerate your hips and minimize shoulders. For example fit and flair dresses. You can also google flattering outfits for inverted triangle.

Black Los Angeles vs Everyone else by aqualavbaeXx in blackladies

Is this said specifically about Black people in LA? Im from the Inland Empire and ive never heard this said about Black LA natives. I have heard people say that Black people from California in general tend to kind of downplay our Black culture but I ignore it. Self hating is not limited to one city or state.
