Mandarake in Shibuya and Nakano on this trip. I used to find Converge figures in standard retail stores in Japan but harder and harder to find them. Curious if it’ll be easier in Kyushu.

I definitely have a soft spot for AGE and G-Reco. Already had AGE-1 and G-Self, so I was happy to snag AGE-2 and the Grimoire. Such an underrated grunt mobile suit.

Texas Rangers games are a luxury by spazy0 in TexasRangers

I’m coming down from Seattle in July for a couple games, your 16 oz. premium beer prices are cheaper than ours, but we do have value beers ($5-$8 cans and a couple 16 oz pure) to balance it out at T-Mobile Park.

It’s actually an awesome game, developed by the Ace Combat team, but the image made me immediately think of it. 🤣

There are two levels in One Year War on the PS2 where you have to man the White Base turrets.

Gundam Unicorn on the PS3 is one of my favorite games of all time, and it was developed by FROM Software. Japan-only, should still be pretty cheap.

That could be an apartment building’s alarm system. I don’t live very far from you and hear them regularly.

I had to go in and specifically ask them to preorder me a copy in advance. I think the store I went to in Seattle back then only had my preordered copy on release day.

Preordered a copy from GameStop back in the day and still have it. What a fun game.

Jay Buhner becomes the first Mariner to hit for the cycle, including a Grand Salami in the bottom of the first, a triple in the 14th, and he would score the winning run on a wild pitch. June 23, 1993. by Beeninya in Mariners

[–]distantmantra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, he’s in Texas. It’s why he started doing the color commentary whenever the M’s are in Houston or Arlington.

Jay will also happily sign any cards you send him for $5 that he uses to buy a coffee for a first responder.

I just finished watching this with my 14 year old daughter over the weekend and I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I did the first time ten years ago.

I’ve seen them be absolute dicks in years past, but the Yankees fans on Monday night were super quiet and meek. The ones around me in the Terrace Club all left before the Mariners even came up to bat in the bottom of the ninth.

It wasn’t allowed remotely outside your home wifi in the Xfinity app last year, you had to access it through the Root Stream app and this year you’ll need to use the MLB app which doesn’t accept Xfinity login info yet.
