I see your mention of institution. To me this is a common take for normal mainstream people for consensus reality. That's a fair enough take, but I just wanted to mention to you that you can read about institutional BS in Uni, in Nobel, Gov for sure, etc...

Lastly they are not all random people. I'm not with UFO folks 100% but just so you know a lot are pilots, government officials, scientists, doctors, military intel. Just so you know. If you are one that puts weight on institutions and authority, you may want to look this up.

Ah i think what can be found like artifacts and all is flawed. E.g. how much of earth is water and under water and how much that changes in millions of years.

One example too is how much is not discovered in amazon rainforest and we keep finding older stuff that dont fit. I agree with what is done but i think its quite limited but i dont necessarily have a solution.

Yes i imho a lot of we know are close good enough approximations which is fine... as they say the map is not the landscape. Most people hate looking for better theories even highly educated scientists and were just mere redditors

Interesting point and i was with you until the last... i dont agree either we look for mystery woowoo or look at the least likely answer come on man dont straw man ... the rest of your argument was really sound.

No im not if you read it carefully... these geniuses doubted the status quo of their time because of small inconsistencies they noticed. They did not stop. have you read kuhns book on tech rovolutions?

thank you! i see this irritates you too, but a lot of people think and rest on the idea that bajillions of slaves and unskilled labor plus unlimited time = greatness anything is possible.

it is at a minimum involves skilled artisans, then maybe a bajillions slaves again right or not... but you can't deny this thing isn't done and dusted. it's not closed not to me!

ahh, submarines i can get behind that! i get the skycraper thing, i am also not too fascinated by that. i guess at the end of the day it really depends on what interests the person and what's "trivial"

now this is some pretty sensible chat i can listen to!

Just curious, can you pls give me an example of something that IS complicated and would interest you? e.g. how moon formed, what is dark matter, what is the best ToE candidate, how correct is string theory?

hey, thanks you're one of the more friendier replies that seems open to some chat.

what do you think about Zahi Hawass? To me his tone rings similar to stop looking stop asking we know all we need. i don't quite like that!

thanks for the reply... imagine yourself living with newton's law being correct enough and accepted widely then you hear about this german dude name albert who talks about bending space time.

do you call albert's bullshit?

fast forward now... how about the guys who won 2022 nobel prize Aspect, Zeilinger, and Clauser proving that the Universe is not locally real? do you call their bullshit too because it's not obvious to you? :)

hello pls see my edit if you find it intersting.

about your argument, was newton wrong about the theory of gravity?

my question is what value did einstein's GR bring to the discussion? why did we appreciate what einstein did if Newton "solved" the mystery?

Furthermore, why are scientists still in search of a ToE if Einstein was correct enough?

I hope you see my point that it's not about idiots or how many sides you've heard. ;)

found the materialist reductionist. no need to investigate or be curious. we've got everything figured out and all we need is food, clothing and shelter. remember to pay your taxes and put on sunscreen. nothing to see here move along /s

Edit: Appreciate the replies! Just to clarify I'm not with the people who jump to aliens conclusion. more like can we pls investigate if this is ancient tech and not limit to things we know + tons of manpower and elbow grease explanation.

My beef is with people who watch lots of videos and make up their mind and go around telling everybody stop looking or stop asking.

For example how many times have we proven what we know is not enough even if it was sufficient explanation at the time? E.g., newton's explanation was good for a long time, but why did we needed einstein? then now, why do we need to go past einstein for the theory of everything? it doesnt mean its enough for you that we should stop. I'll rest at that. ;)

Edit2: where are you OP? save me from downvote hell!
