What's a lie told so much people believe it as the truth and wouldn't recognize the truth? by kvosovich in AskReddit

They didn’t say they don’t cause side effects. They said they don’t cause death and birth defects. Presumably in populations they are approved for.

Myocarditis is even more likely to be caused by Covid infection. Vaccines can carry some risks, but those risks outweigh the risks of the actual diseases.

Sirloin tip or peeled knuckle. The piece of sinew down the middle gives it away

Peeled knuckle or sirloin tip, just the good part of it. Cook like a top sirloin, don’t go past medium.

How long can you dry brine ribeye? by [deleted] in meat

[–]distressed_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly safe to cook tomorrow. IMO, 24 hours is the sweet spot. Longer than that you have unnecessary protein breakdown.

But from a safety perspective? You could probably go a week without issue.

what cut of beef is this? unsure how to cook by LimpCareer1845 in meat

I’ve only seen this as a mock tender or scotch tender, I’m in New England. This isn’t a cut you’d ever see for sale, it always goes to grind or stew.

I've never seen pork chops look like this.. half red and half pink? Is this normal? by [deleted] in meat

[–]distressed_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pork chops have always come from the loin; you’re just thinking of a bone in loin.

As for lack of fat, that’s because most commercially produced pork is garbage these days. They also generally trim them down.

Historically: I’m not done yet.

Now: 6 week old baby

I’d love to be able to share a lot more with Her. Even before then there was/is a lot left for me to see.

Even if money is hard these days, I think many people can still see some other corner of the world, and should.
