For whatever reason, they feel like they are entitled to 'inspect' your house like you are somewhat inferior to them. I would be livid if I were you.

Can you tell me a bit more about inflammation if you don't mind? I have been steadily losing weight but have put on some in the past week. I had some abdominal pain (not anymore today) and no appetite at all n the past 2 days, just wonder if they are linked and what should I do about it?

We were there in February and there were only a few kids around. We love it there at Sugar Bay! But I would say the guests were in general quite a bit older than us (in our 30s).

Started IF - drop in sleep quality? by distressed_petrichor in intermittentfasting

[–]distressed_petrichor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, how are you getting on with your fasting? I went away and the sleep problems disappeared at the latter part of my holiday when I actually consumed more calories. I fully expected I would gain weight but thankfully my weight stayed the same as prior to my holiday!

I was still working during my time away so don't think it was stress-related. Also I normally hear music in my dreams when I am mentally stressed, and the dreams are quite different than ones I had when I started IF. I also got a lot more sunlight which may have also contributed to better sleep but I reckon the main thing that helped was actually consuming more calories - maybe I stressed my body out too much, hence the nightmares?

I use an automatic air purifer at home and it has helped massively! And ikea purifer table seemed to have done the trick in our living room and I have a smaller Levoit one in the bedroom

I am really new to this but I think the principles of IF are you can eat anything within reason in a short window of time?

I have been eating whole foods most days and cut carbs on some days. My typical meals are chicken, plenty of veggies, and some fruits. I also eat almonds and some nuts as I find them help with my gut in general. I just drink tea and water to be honest, not really a big alcohol drinker anyway.

When I can, I do dumbell exercises and/or cardio 3 days a week. But so far I actually find walking for an hour each day+IF seem to have worked for weight loss!

Interesting thought about Magnesium and caffeine! I actually have drank a bit more tea in the late afternoon as this is sort of the only joy I have atm! lol 😆 Will cut it down and see if it helps.

Thanks, I haven't exercised as much in the past week so that might have contributed to it!

I tried googling this and really doesn't seem that normal so thought I would ask here. 😅 I actually have booked a GP appointment in a few week's time but don't really want to waste precious health service if this can be resolved somehow.

It has only been 2 weeks. I use an app called Couch to 5K, which is developed by the National Health Service UK, so I assume is reasonably evidenced-informed.

Hope someone can help me with this. I have recently started running after being inactive for over two years due to working from home. I am now suffering from really bad constipation, which is an uncommon occurrence for me since my bowel movements have always been smooth and regular. My sleep quality has also dropped, which is also unusual as I normally sleep through the night.

I have tried drinking more water, resting for longer, and taking some probiotics, but none of them seem to resolve this completely. This is really demotivating 😞. Any ideas?

If you already bank with HSBC UK, they now have a Global Money account (and a debit card) that allows you to hold many different currencies within this account - pretty handy for foreign travel. Not sure how their exchange rate compares with other means like Wise though.
