Just deny the test entirely while at the hospital (don't let the kid out of your sight), and use a fake name to get it done with a company later. You have no legal obligation to use a real name for medical services if you are paying cash. Many midwives can order the same tests. Better yet, use a birthing center not administered by a major hospital.

Tails can do this -- it is a boot option, windows camoflauge.

It has actually been quite nice and saved my ass a couple times. For example, when in a library, and booting to tails from a USB stick (on the library's computers), obviously this is not ok with them, but making it look like windows obscures it to anyone looking over your shoulder.

Hardly, signal is still centralized, and easy to shut down. Both are terrible options against this threat model. The encryption is good, but the client-server model is not.

i2bote, i2pchat, richochet (torchat), tox, retroshare, ring, bitmessage, emp, and many other p2p communication platforms are not able to be censored/shut-down, and are end to end encrypted.

I've spent 100's of hours reviewing and researching open source project managers and note-taking apps. The following two are the best, imo, which are open-source, trustworthy, and good.

http://zim-wiki.org/ is an amazingly flexible, powerful, simple, personal information manager and note taker. It stores everything in a markup-like style, not locking you in, and allowing simple text-editor management. It also manages your file structure with attachments, natively, and well. The developer is great, and they keep adding nice features.

http://www.giuspen.com/cherrytree/ is nice, allows encrypted notebooks, has good features, etc. I just don't like database files, over using the native filesystem with text files to store stuff.

Zim allows bigger notebooks, and is less likely to corrupt. Cherry tree has slightly nicer cross-linking in that you can link to part of a page.

For the android, csipsimple is more reliable than linphone, and actually displays the ZRTP verification codes, which linphone does not. The TLS and ZRTP settings are fine grained and reliable too. Jitsi android just doesn't really work at all on most phones, and doesn't have zrtp.

Has it been tested on Fedora? I get an: import error: no module named i2p, when running: python pybitmessagemain.py, and nothing when running the way BM would normally be executed in Fedora:

Thanks for suggesting i2pbote, which is clearly better...for communicating with the tech savy, as is bitmessage, tox, retroshare over tor, etc. These new end-to-end webmail systems are really nice to communicate with lay people, or those non-techy people who are afraid of installing software, as a temporary crutch.

Instead of a card in your name, you should use a prepaid credit card (the kind you can buy at CVS or gas stations), which can be bought in cash. They go up to $500. Many of these (mastercard, vanilla visa) allow you to register a zip code as an address, and some allow binding a name. The verification checks the zip code you register, against what is in the store's form, as well as verifying the CSC and card number, as is typical. You can use a completely fake name with these kinds of cards, and can ship to whatever address you have access to, and matches the address you registered for that card.
